Donald Trump will hold sanctuary cities accountable
Democrat-run sanctuary cities are one of the big magnets drawing illegal aliens into America.
Donald Trump winning re-election means a new day is dawning on America in terms of how the government treats the border crisis.
Fox News contributor and radio host Mark Levin asked incoming border czar Tom Homan if Donald Trump planned to withhold federal funding from sanctuary cities that attempt to defy federal immigration law.
“Much like the Confederacy, they want to go on their own. They want to do their own thing. To me, you got a powerful weapon among others, okay, no federal funds – boom – last thoughts?” Levin asked.
Homan replied that all options were on the table and that he guaranteed that President Trump would deny federal funds to sanctuary cities.
“And that is going to happen. I guarantee President Trump will do that,” Homan replied.
Homan said the leftist mob tried to bully him out of organizing Donald Trump’s planned mass deportations by threatening not just his life, but those of his family members as well.
“Second of all, this administration has turned this world upside down. Now I am being attacked, right, I’ve got death threats, my family’s not even living in my home right now,” Homan stated.
Homan slammed the pity party sanctuary city Democrats like the Mayor of Denver – who promised armed resistance to mass deportations before quickly backtracking – were throwing to make them look like the aggrieved party.
“So all of a sudden, the guys who won’t enforce the law, the bad guys, the bad guys who break the law are the victims,” Homan continued.
Trump border czar delivers message to sanctuary city mayors
The new border czar told sanctuary city mayors to listen to the Laken Riley tape, which showed her fighting for her life for 18 minutes as an illegal alien Joe Biden and Kamala Harris released into the country murdered her.
“For those mayors and those governors who say they’re going to stop ICE from doing their job, stop me from doing this job, listen to the Laken Riley tape,” Homan begged.
“Listen to the 17 minutes of this girl suffering, fighting for her life, fighting for her breath. This little girl didn’t want to die, she fought like hell. Listen to that tape. That happens every day across this country at the hands of an illegal alien,” Homan declared.
Homan said public safety was one of Donald Trump’s top priorities.
And that keeping the streets safe meant mass deportations of criminal illegal aliens and known national security threats.
“Finally I’ll say this: President Trump has made it clear, we’re going to prioritize public safety threats and national security threats right out of the gate because they pose the most danger to this country,” Homan stated.
“What governor or mayor doesn’t want public safety threats and national security threats out of their neighborhoods, out of their communities? That’s their number one responsibility,” Homan concluded.
