Donald Trump Says He Has Photographic Evidence of a Criminal Voting Offense in Kansas

Nov 3, 2026

Roger Marshall and Adam Hamilton had been locked in one of the tightest Senate races in America.

Then a voter walked into the Attorney General's office with a gift card and a story.

Now the President says he has the evidence to prove exactly what that story means.

Bluestem Kansas Canvassers Allegedly Offered Voters Five Dollar Gift Cards

A Kansas voter told the Attorney General's office that a canvasser showed up at their door on October 31 and offered a five dollar gift card.

The canvasser said he was working with Bluestem Kansas, a left-leaning nonprofit.

Kobach's office says the offer was tied to voting in the November 3 general election.

President Trump posted about the incident on Truth Social, saying a Radical Left PAC operative was caught on camera going door to door in Wichita offering gift cards for votes.

"We have photographic evidence. This is a Criminal Offense!" Trump wrote.

Kobach fired off a cease-and-desist letter to Bluestem Kansas the same day the evidence came in.

"This sounds like Chicago in the 1950s, not Kansas in the 2020s," Kobach said.

His office has asked any Kansan who was offered a gift card, cash, or any other incentive to call 785-296-2215 and report the date, location, and what the canvasser asked them to do.

Kobach Cited a Kansas Felony Law That Treats Vote Buying as Bribery

Kobach's letter points to K.S.A. 25-2409, a Kansas statute that makes election bribery a severity level 7, nonperson felony.

It also cites 52 U.S.C. § 10307(c), the federal law that makes it a crime to pay or offer to pay anyone for voting in an election that includes federal candidates.

The letter orders Bluestem Kansas to preserve every email, text, script, training document, payment record, and vendor communication tied to its canvassing operation.

Kansas Republican Party officials said votes should be cast freely, not bought with a gift card.

Senator Roger Marshall, locked in a tight reelection race, urged anyone with evidence to report it directly to Kobach's office.

Kobach Already Hit the League of Women Voters with the Same Warning

This is not Kobach's first gift card fight this year.

In Leavenworth County, the League of Women Voters put up a sign at a registration table promising a five dollar Starbucks gift card to anyone who registered to vote.

Kobach sent that chapter a cease-and-desist letter and a criminal referral to the U.S. Attorney, citing the same federal vote-buying statute now aimed at Bluestem Kansas.

The League's national office said it was committed to following the law against paying for registrations.

A Gift Card Scandal Does Not Need a Conviction to Do Damage

Kobach is not chasing a theory.

He is running the same play twice against two different groups caught offering the identical five dollar incentive, and that turns one disgruntled voter's tip into a pattern investigators can actually build a case around.

The timing is brutal for Kansas Democrats.

Roger Marshall and pastor Adam Hamilton are running one of the closest Senate races in the country, with polls swinging a few points in either direction depending on the week.

A gift card scheme breaking two days before polls open does not have to end in a courtroom to shake that race.

It just needs Kansans to start wondering how many doors those canvassers knocked on before somebody finally called the Attorney General.
