Bill O’Reilly has known Donald Trump for decades.
O’Reilly believes Trump’s second term will be radically different from his first four years in office.
And now Bill O’Reilly has revealed Donald Trump’s secret plan to take on the deep state.
Donald Trump’s cabinet nominations cause a swamp meltdown
Donald Trump wasn’t just going to appoint a group of establishment-approved stooges to staff his government.
Trump rolled a group of anti-establishment fighters like Pete Hegseth to run the Pentagon, Matt Gaetz for Attorney General, Tulsi Gabbard to serve as Director of National Intelligence, and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to lead the Department of Health of Human Services.
These picks enraged members of the D.C. swamp who thought they could bring Trump to heel.
Bill O’Reilly focused on the pick of Hegseth to serve as Secretary of Defense.
O’Reilly told NewsNation’s Chris Cuomo that Trump wanted Hegseth in place at the Defense Department because in Trump’s first term a cabal of woke generals undermined Trump’s America First foreign policy.
“Hegseth is going to watch the generals because Trump got so burned by that and he’s so angry that he wants a watchdog play with Pete Hegseth, okay? And he’s a very loyal guy to Trump,” O’Reilly stated.
Trump’s first Secretary of Defense General James Mattis resigned in protest to stop Trump’s plan to withdraw American troops from Syria and end the foolhardy war started by Barack Obama.
Woke Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Mark Milley staged two different coups against Trump.
During the 2020 election, Milley called his counterpart in Communist China and pledged to give advance warning if Donald Trump ordered an attack.
After the events of January 6, Milley assured then-Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi that he and other generals would defy lawful orders given by Donald Trump in his final two weeks in office.
How Trump wants to run the White House
In Trump’s first term, he admittedly made the mistake of hiring individuals based on star power or if they came highly recommended by experienced Washington hands.
Trump entered the White House as a political neophyte following his 2016 election win.
Now Trump returns to the White House as a seasoned pro.
And O’Reilly told Cuomo that Trump is prepared to run a top-down operation where cabinet secretaries are there to implement his agenda and not freelance.
“So, you have to understand it’s a top down on Trump. Trump is going to run everything, and he wants eyes and ears in all of these areas reporting back to him. That’s how this country is going to be run,” he said,” O’Reilly stated.
O’Reilly explained that the pro-Democrat media was losing their minds over Trump installing so-called “loyalists” in key positions, but O’Reilly noted FDR – a President the media lionizes as an American hero – managed his administration using the exact same leadership style as Trump.
“A lot of people don’t like this governing style, that’s for sure, and the press is going wild already because they hate Trump. But Trump is going to run this administration the way he wants to. Franklin Delano Roosevelt did the same thing,” O’Reilly continued.
“He had his cadre all over the federal government watching people that might subvert what he wanted done. FDR was a very centralized president, and he didn’t have a real aggressive media back then, but those were the depression years and the World War II years — You did it his way or you were out. He wouldn’t even talk to Harry Truman, his vice president, because he didn’t trust Truman, alright?” O’Reilly added.
The old saying goes: You aren’t being paranoid if they really are out to get you.
And in Donald Trump’s case, he learned firsthand they are really out to get him.
That’s why Trump wants America First fighters in place who are loyal to his agenda and will carry out the policy directives Trump wishes.
