Democrats aren’t dealing with Donald Trump’s wins well at all.
No one more so than former President Bill Clinton.
And Bill Clinton did one strange thing in bed with Hillary after the election.
Bill Clinton’s confession about the 2016 election
Bill Clinton’s new memoir, Citizen: My Life After The White House, contains his first description of how he handled Hillary Clinton’s defeat in the 2016 election.
2016 was Hillary Clinton’s second run for the Presidency.
And like in 2008, Clinton, every other Democrat, many Republicans, and all the press thought the election was a mere formality on the way to her coronation as America’s first female President.
But like in 2008, a newcomer burst onto the scene and upended the Clinton dynasty.
In 2008, that was Barack Obama.
Obama rode voter anger with Hillary’s votes for the Iraq War to the Democrat Party nomination and then defeated hapless RINO John McCain in the general election.
Eight years later, Hillary mounted a second – and ultimately final – campaign for the White House.
But Hillary was once again denied by a political newcomer, and she actually helped pave the road to her own defeat by Donald Trump.
Democrats all thought Donald Trump was a joke and Hillary’s team planted stories in the press as the election approached to manipulate the GOP Primary to see to it that Trump was Hillary’s opponent.
Trump pulled off a stunning upset.
Voters wanted change after decades of Clinton corruption and criminal investigations.
Hillary served as the avatar for an out of touch establishment that enriched itself through insider dealing and ignored the concerns of the American people, chiefly the wide-open southern border, endless wars in the Middle East, and a rigged system.
Clinton admits to bedroom troubles
Clinton reacted horribly to the defeat, knowing it was the end of his and Hillary’s political careers.
Writing his memoir, Clinton wrote that he couldn’t sleep at night and lashed out at anyone in the nearest vicinity.
“The whole thing is hard for me to write,” an excerpt obtained by the Daily Mail read. “I couldn’t sleep for two years after the election. I was so angry, I wasn’t fit to be around.”
Clinton claimed he was in a funk for four years.
“I apologize to all those who endured my outbursts of rage, which lasted for years and bothered or bored people who thought it pointless to rehash things that couldn’t be changed,” Clinton wrote.
Clinton also admitted he still clung to the big lie that was the Russia collusion hoax.
“Almost two years after the election, Kathleen Hall Jamieson, a highly regarded social scientist said Russia’s cyber attacks piled on top of Comey’s interventions were effective enough to persuade voters in Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin to vote for third parties or stay at home,” Clinton also wrote.
“If so, Putin’s enablers were Comey and the political press,” Clinton falsely claimed.
Clinton writing this book couldn’t even serve as a form of therapy to get over what happened in 2016.
If eight years later Bill Clinton is still maintaining that Russia was responsible for Hillary Clinton losing to Donald Trump, then the Democrat Party will never be able to accept the fact that it was their agenda that voters rejected.
And that means Democrats are likely to keep losing elections.
