Anna Paulina Luna Just Called Out the Foreign Government Bankrolling the Democratic Socialists

Zohran Mamdani's Democratic Socialists just seized control of New York City government.

Now a Florida congresswoman says the movement backing him answers to a much bigger boss than the voters who elected him.

Anna Paulina Luna went on camera this week and said the quiet part out loud about who is really funding the DSA.

Luna Names the Communist Government Behind the Democratic Socialists

Luna did not hedge.

She said the Democratic Socialists of America are "absolutely funded and tied to the Chinese Communist Party."

She said it on video, by name, knowing every DSA-aligned politician in the country would see the clip.

Luna chairs the House Oversight Committee's task force investigating CCP-linked funding of American unrest, and she chose this moment to go public.

On Fox News, she named names, pointing to "mega-donors like Neville Roy Singham" as the kind of financier now under federal investigation.

She followed it up on Hannity, telling viewers the situation with DSA and its allied groups is "a lot more nefarious than I think a lot of people realize."

Her promise to voters was blunt: Republicans are going to "keep the crazy away" from the levers of American government.

Luna is telling Americans exactly who she thinks is cheering from Beijing while Mamdani settles into City Hall.

The Pledge DSA Members Do Not Want You to See

Luna's claim did not come out of nowhere.

Fox News reported that Democratic Socialists of America activists signed a pledge resolving to "support, defend and build understanding of" Chinese socialism, in their own words, on paper.

The Washington Stand documented a network of American CCP apologists based out of Shanghai propping up the same democratic socialist movement that just took New York.

Breitbart and Fox News both reported that a pro-China billionaire's network helped fund and organize the NYC May Day events where Mamdani stood on stage pushing his tax-the-rich pitch.

One of Mamdani's own campaign videographers now lives in Communist China, according to Townhall's reporting on his inner circle.

Put those pieces together and Luna's "funded and tied" claim stops sounding like a talking point and starts sounding like a pattern.

This Is Not the First Time Beijing Went Looking for American Allies

Americans have seen this movie before.

The Chinese Communist Party spent years cultivating sitting congressman Eric Swalwell through a suspected operative named Fang Fang, and declassified FBI files confirm Swalwell admitted to the relationship.

That case became a national scandal precisely because it showed the CCP does not need tanks or spies in trench coats – it needs sympathetic Americans willing to carry water.

The DSA pledge to "support and defend" Chinese socialism is that same playbook, just printed on paper instead of whispered in a hotel room.

China's United Front strategy has always worked the same way – find ideological allies already primed to distrust American institutions, then fund and flatter them until they are useful.

A socialist movement that already hates capitalism, already hates the American police, and already hates Trump's America First agenda is the easiest possible target for that strategy.

Luna is betting that once voters see the pledge, the Shanghai money trail, and the videographer living in Beijing, they will stop treating "democratic socialism" like a harmless college club.

The real question she wants Americans asking is who these people actually answer to – and whether it is the voters of New York, or a Communist Party seven thousand miles away.
