A top John Fetterman ally just ran scared from one question about one frightening Kamala Harris position

Kamala Harris was supposed to be great for Democrats’ electoral hopes.

But she’s putting some members of her party in uncomfortable situations.

And a top John Fetterman ally just ran scared from one question about one frightening Kamala Harris position.

Kamala Harris’ flip-flop puts Senate Democrat in an awkward spot

Pennsylvania is the center of the political universe this year.

It’s the biggest swing state in the country with 19 Electoral Votes.

Former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris are spending more in Pennsylvania than any other state this election cycle.

But the state is also home to a Senate race that could determine which party controls the Senate after November.

U.S. Senator Bob Casey (D-PA) is squaring off against his Republican challenger, businessman David McCormick.

Energy is one of the biggest issues in Pennsylvania this year and it’s creating a thorny situation for Democrats.

The state is in the middle of an energy boom from hydraulic fracking that’s made it the second-largest producer of natural gas in the country behind Texas.

Kamala had a long history of wanting to ban fracking before her current Presidential campaign.

An anonymous campaign spokesman put out a statement that claimed she no longer supports a ban on fracking.

Casey was put on the spot about Kamala’s support for fracking at a press conference in Philadelphia.

He was asked about her flip-flop on the issue.

“I’ll let the Vice President speak to it herself,” Casey stated, adding that she’s going to have plenty of chances to address during her visits to the state.

Kamala has gone out of her way to talk about her energy policy during the campaign.

And she’s refused to hold a press conference or take tough questions from reporters.

“It’s clear to me that she has a position that would ensure that we don’t have fracking bans like some have proposed in Congress. I’ve always opposed, and will continue to oppose,” Casey added.

But that evidence isn’t clear about her position on fracking.

Kamala’s war on American energy production

85% of voters in Pennsylvania support fracking, according to polling.

Kamala’s long political record suggests she wants to eliminate fracking in Pennsylvania.

She sued the Obama administration as California Attorney General to ban fracking in 2016.

And Kamala was one of the sponsors of Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s (D-NY) Green New Deal that would end the use of fossil fuels.

During the 2020 Presidential campaign, she told a climate activist during a CNN town hall she would ban fracking as President.

“There is no question I’m in favor of banning fracking,” Kamala said.

Mount Jewett Mayor Brianna Howard – who works in a family oil and gas company – didn’t believe this all too convenient election year flip-flop from Kamala.

“Harris’ constant flip-flopping and backtracking on fracking is a reminder that she knows how important our American energy industry is, but because she’s a puppet of the climate alarmists who seek to impose their radical ‘green energy’ agenda on every day Americans, she refuses to acknowledge the necessity of fracking,” Howard said.

Pennsylvania is a dead heat right in polling.

Kamala Harris’ history of attacking the fossil fuel industry could haunt her in this must-win swing state.
