Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett’s unhinged rant
Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) has a history of lunatic rantings during committee hearings.
During one House Oversight Committee hearing, Crockett attacked Congressman Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) for having a “bleach-blonde, bad-built, butch body.”
But Crockett put on an even more disgraceful performance during a House Oversight Committee hearing on Kamala Harris’ failure as broadband czar.
Kamala Harris oversaw the $42.5 billion Broadband Equity Access and Deployment Program, which was created in the 2021 Green New Deal Act.
Zero construction projects are underway to expand broadband access.
Federal Communication Commission commissioner Brendan Carr testified that Kamala Harris ground the program into a failure because of her obsession with diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) programs.
Crockett – one of the wokest members of Congress – launched into a tirade during Carr’s testimony, blaming Project 2025 and suggesting that $42.5 billion in taxpayer money isn’t enough to fund any broadband expansion programs.
“Here’s the deal. You’ve testified a lot about the problem with the broadband rollout being diversity, equity, and inclusion. You said ‘I don’t know’ how many times, which is one of the issues they, Project 2025 takes issue with. But it’s interesting to me because I have another article from the Texas Tribune, and it actually specifically states that internet providers say they are simultaneously hopeful and skeptical about whether the incoming federal dollars will be enough to connect the most underserved Texans,” Crockett began.
“Historically, other federal rural broadband funding programs have seen limited success because many companies who committed to providing broadband went into default after radically underestimating their cost. It doesn’t say anything about diversity. And the final thing that I will say,” Crockett added, before Carr interjected to fact check her.
“Do you know why those costs have increased substantially?” Carr asked, intending to explain how DEI drove up costs.

That comment caused a meltdown by Crockett, who lost her mind over getting interrupted.
Crockett claimed this exchange was like the 2024 election, seemingly comparing Carr to Donald Trump, calling him a “simpleminded, under qualified White man,” whereas she and Kamala Harris were the “qualified Black woman.”
“I didn’t ask you a question. The final thing that I will say is that this election is the best example of why y’all are so afraid of diversity, equity, and inclusion. Because then you can’t have a simpleminded, under-qualified White man somehow end up ascending. Instead, you’ve got to pay attention to the qualified Black woman that is on the other side,” Crockett ranted.
DEI programs are based on the Marxist ideology about equalizing outcomes.
Once the government tries to mandate results, costs will invariably skyrocket because merit is no longer the guiding force.
Democrats hate getting called out on this because it exposes their ugly ideology.
