Becoming a household name is the name of the game if you want to be anybody in Congress.
With a recent photo-op, Representative Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) is destined to be an internet sensation.
And this photo of Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna brought Washington, D.C. to a screeching halt.
Congresswoman Luna breaks the internet
When you really think about how Congress works, you realize that your Member of Congress probably doesn’t do much while on the job.
If they aren’t taking bags of money from crooked donors or lobbyists, they are probably just sitting around talking to other members of Congress.
So for someone to break out in Washington, D.C., odds are they will need to become a household name.
The old way for a conservative to become the next big sensation in Congress was to just go on Fox News as much as they can.
Even names who have consistently voted for Democrat and RINO establishment pet projects could burnish their standing with mainstream Republican voters by appearing on the network and become a big shot in Washington, D.C.
But, come to find out, there may be another way thanks to Florida Republican Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna.
Most people who know Congresswoman Luna know that she is one of the youngest members of Congress.
But many people don’t realize that she has a modeling background and a good one at that.
Before Luna became a member of Congress, she was breaking the internet with racy pictures posted online.
And many have hoped that she would get around to some moon-lighting.
Well America is in luck as Luna proudly announced to her followers on X that she recently had a covershoot for Maxim.
Just look at that cover picture.

And she proved in the article that she is more than just a model.
No privilege here
Congresswoman Luna opened up to Maxim about the struggles she faced before heading to the Capitol.
She went into her families’ troubled past and explained how she “didn’t come from a political pedigree, money or attend an Ivy League college. My father struggled with substance abuse. He was in and out of jail until later in my teens and, at one point, became homeless.”
Luna revealed that her family had often struggled. Her mother had her at 20, but the family was heavily impacted by drugs and abuse.
“My mom had me at 20. Her family had also been heavily impacted by drugs. She eventually ended up getting married, but it was an extremely abusive relationship. At one point, we tried to go to a women’s shelter with my little sister and brother, but the conditions were so unsafe that she had to bring us back home,” Luna recounted.
Luna then explained that even though she didn’t come from the best background she was still able to overcome her circumstances as she lived in the greatest country on planet earth.
She told Maxim, “My parents may not have been perfect, but I did learn from their strengths and mistakes, and I’m extremely proud of them both. The American dream is alive and well, and I’m living proof. I tell people that you may not be able to control the circumstances in which you are born, but you can control the outcome.”
There is a lot more to Congresswoman Luna beyond her show-stopping looks.
And, honestly, America would probably be a better place if Congress had more members who knew what it was like to struggle like Luna did as a child.
