Karoline Leavitt slams Democrats for their outbursts during Trump’s speech
President Donald Trump took a well-deserved victory lap by touting his administration’s accomplishments during an address to a joint session of Congress.
Democrats began causing disruptions before the speech began.
Representative Al Green (D-TX) was removed from the House chamber after he began yelling at Trump and waving his cane around just minutes into the address.
Trump recognized a number of special guests he invited to the speech, including 13-year-old D.J. Daniel, a brain cancer survivor, who he made an honorary member of the Secret Service.
Democrats refused to applaud the brave young cancer survivor.
The only applause that Trump received from Democrats was when he mentioned funding to Ukraine.
Democrats were mocked in the media for their embarrassing disruptions during the speech.
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt blasted Democrat Members of Congress for their awful behavior during the speech.
“The behavior of Democrats last night was completely disgraceful and demonstrated how severely out of touch they are with the American public,” Leavitt began. “It was the most shameful moment in the history of Presidential addresses in that beautiful chamber.”
Democrats insulted the public with their boorish behavior at the speech.
“In what was supposed to be a unifying moment for our country, Democrat members of Congress instead screamed at the President of the United States, who was just overwhelmingly re-elected by their constituents, walked out of the chamber, and worst of all, they disrespected the American people,” Leavitt continued.
Democrats confirm why they’re out of touch
Nearly 80% of Americans oppose biological men competing in women’s sports.
Trump recognized 19-year-old Payton McNabb who suffered a traumatic brain injury playing high school volleyball against a transgender player.
“Democrats didn’t stand to keep men out of women’s sports,” Leavitt stated. “They couldn’t even clap for a girl who got her head smashed in by a man on a volleyball court. Democrats didn’t stand for an innocent and beautiful child who is surviving brain cancer.”
The families of Laken Riley and Jocelyn Nungaray, who were murdered by illegal aliens last year, also didn’t receive any applause from Democrats when Trump acknowledged.
Leavitt slammed Democrats for only showing enthusiasm for pouring money into the failed war in Ukraine.
“One of the only things that could get Democrats off their feet last night was cheering for Ukraine, not for America. Last night was a very clarifying moment for our country. The Democrats exposed themselves as the party of insanity and hate, the party that wants to put America last,” Leavitt said. “They’ve allowed their Trump derangement syndrome to stop them from celebrating America and our people, and we will not allow them to forget that.”
It wasn’t just Republicans who were upset with the Democrat antics.
Axios reported that House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) privately confronted Democrats who disrupted Trump’s speech.
The Democrat Party wants to throw a temper tantrum over Donald Trump being President.
