Kamala Harris is turning into a problem Democrats just can’t get rid of.
The failed Presidential candidate is holding her party hostage.
And Kamala Harris begged Democrats to meet this disturbing demand.
Kamala Harris’ campaign even worse than anyone thought
Democrats tried to claim that Kamala Harris ran a flawless campaign.
Most parties throw candidates who lose a Presidential election so badly overboard as they no longer have any use for them.
But for some reason, Democrats and their adjacent media want to blame everyone but Kamala Harris for the defeat in November.
The idea that Kamala Harris ran a brilliant campaign and was just done in by the political headwinds – this also ignored the fact that voter anger over inflation and the open border stemmed from policies Kamala Harris supported – took another hit with the post-election email fundraising barrage by Kamala’s campaign.
“Even a quick donation of $50 is enough to help us in this fight,” one email stated. “And with only hours left to hit our goal today, NOW is the best time to rush your support.”
Kamala Harris hammered her list of supporters with two to three emails per day to raise money to pay off a reported $20 million debt.
“The fundraising appeals may be necessary: Harris’ operation ended with around $20 million in debt, according to two people familiar with her campaign finances and granted anonymity to speak freely. And there are limited ways campaigns can pay that down under federal law,” POLITICO exclusively reported.
Kamala Harris raised $1.5 billion in 107 days.
No candidate ever raised that much money in that short a period of time.
Yet that wasn’t enough to avoid a wipeout at the ballot box or even to avoid the campaign ending up in the red.
The fiscal recklessness Kamala Harris oversaw on her campaign was a sign voters made the right move in rejecting her at the polls, as it’s an old saying that you govern as you campaign.
And if Kamala Harris blew out the budget and ended up with her campaign in debt, it would be highly likely she would drown America in even more red ink if she ended up as President.
Democrats big worry about Kamala Harris
As the two parties’ electoral coalitions realigned – with college-educated voters moving into the Democrat Party camp – the Left opened up a massive fundraising edge on the Right.
In the 90 days prior to the election, the online fundraising platform ActBlue reported raking in $1.5 billion from 31,000,000 donors.
Top Democrats worry that Kamala Harris’ frequent pleas for money to pay off the debt of a losing campaign will wear out that small dollar donor base and diminish the Left’s online fundraising edge in 2026 and 2028.
“I understand that the Harris campaign is in a very difficult position with the debt that they have, and so sometimes you just have to make practical decisions,” top Democrat online fundraising consultant Mike Nellis told POLITICO. “But yeah, I think that stuff like that erodes trust.”
