Hulk Hogan revealed Donald Trump offered him this shocking new job

Hulk Hogan was one of Donald Trump’s major celebrity endorsers.

Now that Trump won, the President-Elect found a way to pay Hogan back for his support.

And Hulk Hogan revealed Donald Trump offered him this shocking new job.

Hulk Hogan’s role in a new Trump administration

Hulk Hogan brought down the house at the Republican National Convention when he took a generation of Americans back to their childhood with a classic Hogan performance.

Hogan delivered all his signature catchphrases and tore off his t-shirt like he would before his WWE matches.

Hogan revealed that Donald Trump had more in mind for Hogan than just appearing on rally stages.

In an interview with Fox News Channel’s Brian Kilmeade, Hogan recounted how when he and Trump were backstage at Trump’s October 27 Madison Square Garden rally, Trump proposed to Hogan that if he won, the wrestling star could head up the President’s Council on Fitness.

“My President said, ‘You know something, you’d be great to run the President’s Council on Physical Fitness,”‘ Hogan stated.

The “Hulk” told Kilmeade that he had told Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. – now the nominee to serve as Secretary of Health and Human Services – that he wanted to play a role in the Make America Healthy Again agenda.

“At the end of the day, when I was in the back at Madison Square Garden after the whole rally, we were talking about Robert Kennedy, I was talking about nutrition and how many foreign countries won’t even let their people eat the food that we eat here in America,” Hogan added.

“It’s so bad and it’s poisoned a generation of kids,” Hogan continued.

Hogan said the conversation drifted back to “physical fitness,” as Hogan was known for his “24-inch pythons” in his wrestling days, and his impressive physique helped make him the biggest star in the history of pro wrestling up to that point.

“And at the end of the day, we started talking about physical fitness,” Hogan recalled.

Hogan said Trump told him “you’re 71, you still got that Trump pump-on brother.”

“And it would be great if you got all the kids in America in shape,” Hogan said Trump also remarked.

Hogan said accepting such a position would be a massive change in his life since he’s basically retired now.

“My thing is I’m a beach bum, brother, I love staying on the beach,” Hogan admitted. “But you never know, it could happen.”

But pro athletes serving as the head of the President’s Council on Fitness in Republican administrations isn’t unique.

Herschel Walker filled the role in Trump’s first term.

Hall of Fame wide receiver Lynn Swann held the title for President George W. Bush from 2002 to 2005.

And Arnold Schwarzenegger famously served as President George H.W. Bush’s head of the President’s Council on Fitness from 1990 to 1993.
