The Vice-Presidential debate was a disaster for Minnesota Governor Tim Walz.
Donald Trump wasn’t about to let one blunder go unanswered.
And now Democrats’ chances are decapitated after Tim Walz committed this horrific gaffe that Donald Trump just made him pay dearly for.
Tim Walz bizarrely claims he’s friends with school shooters
Tim Walz turned in a debate performance filled with odd moments.
But the takeaway from the debate ended up being Walz’s answer on gun control.
In his response to how to stop tragedies at schools, Walz listed off all the gun grabs he imposed as Governor of Minnesota, which included red flag confiscation laws and a gun registration database.
Walz even admitted that if in office, he and Kamala Harris would gut the Second Amendment, declaring “Sometimes it just is the guns,” in blaming firearms for the acts of madmen.
That wasn’t even the weirdest part.
That came when he declared “I’ve become friends with school shooters.”
Donald Trump was live Truthing the debate on his Truth Social platform.
And Trump couldn’t believe Walz said he palled around with school shooters.
“Did Tampon Tim just say he has ‘become friends with school shooters?’ He isn’t even qualified to be Governor, let alone Vice President. Walz and Kamala DO NOT HAVE WHAT IT TAKES!” Trump added.
Walz faces heavy criticism for school shooter remark
Walz never cleaned up his remark about making friends with school shooters, which left Trump perplexed.
“Walz made a very big mistake on Gun Shooters. Does anyone think he knows what he said? Will he have a news conference after the Debate to apologize to the parents and others who were so horribly hurt?” Trump also wrote.
Trump called out the liberal media for trying to ignore Walz’s massive gaffe.
“Why aren’t the after shows talking about the fact that Walz said, ‘I’m friends with school shooters!’” Trump exclaimed.
Andrew Pollack’s daughter, Meadow, was the one of the 17 students killed in the Parkland High School tragedy.
Pollack is also a Second Amendment supporter.
And Pollack couldn’t believe Walz claimed that he was friends with school shooters and deemed the blunder “disqualifying.”
“My daughter was killed in the Parkland school shooting. It’s absolutely abhorrent that Tim Walz has befriended school shooters. Disqualifying,” Pollack wrote on X.
Walz ignored reporters shouting questions at him about what he meant by being friends with school shooters when he and his wife went to a New York City pizza parlor following the debate to grab a slice.
The following day was when Walz attempted to clean up his remarks.
But Walz’s attempt at damage control was even more incomprehensible than his initial comment about being friends with school shooters.
“I was talking about meeting people where there are school shooters, and I need to be more specific on that. But I am passionate about this,” Walz told reporters.
