Donald Trump’s hot and cold relationship with Fox News is running quite frigid at the moment.
Trump isn’t happy at all with the network and isn’t shy about making his displeasure known.
And now Donald Trump demanded Fox News fire this Never Trump traitor.
Trump tells Fox News founder Rupert Murdoch to fire Paul Ryan
RINO former Speaker of the House Paul Ryan’s position on the Fox News board of directors is a sore spot for many conservatives.
Ryan is a Liz Cheney-Mitt Romney style liberal, and many conservatives believe he played a role in Tucker Carlson’s firing as well as the decision to effectively ban Trump from the Fox News airwaves for months following the 2022 election.
Donald Trump isn’t happy with Ryan’s presence at the network as Ryan is one of the swamp RINOs who would be thrilled if Joe Biden won in November.
Trump took to Truth Social and warned Fox News founder Rupert Murdoch and his son Lachlan – the current chairman of Newscorp – that no one could trust the network until they removed Ryan from the board of directors.
“Nobody can ever trust Fox News, and I am one of them, with the weak and ineffective RINO, Paul Ryan, on its Board of Directors,” Trump wrote. “He’s a total lightweight, a failed and pathetic Speaker of the House, and a very disloyal person,” Trump wrote.
Trump added that Mitt Romney turned a disastrous campaign into an unsalvageable situation by putting Ryan on the ticket.
Ryan was another typical establishment Republican who rolled over for Democrats and let Joe Biden steamroll him in the 2012 Vice Presidential debate.
“Romney was bad, but Paul Ryan made him look worse. As a team, they never had a chance. Rupert and Lachlan, get that dog off your Board – You don’t need him. ALL YOU NEED IS TRUMP. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!” Trump concluded.
What set Trump off
Trump must have come across the comments Ryan made on Never-Trump host Neil Cavuto’s show.
Ryan declared Trump a threat to the republic and “unfit” to be President.
“If you put yourself above the Constitution, as he has done, I think that makes you unfit for office,” Ryan stated.
Cavuto asked Ryan if January 6 was the straw that broke the camel’s back for him with Trump.
Ryan – who completely bought into the media and Democrat Party’s falsehood that Trump incited an insurrection – admitted the events of that day played a role.
“That’s a part of it,” Ryan conceded.
But Ryan baselessly claimed Trump lacked the character to be President.
“I think it really is just character at the end of the day, and the fact that if you’re willing to put yourself above the Constitution ― an oath you swear when you take federal office, whether as president or a member of Congress, you swear an oath to the Constitution ― and you’re willing to suborn it to yourself, I think that makes you unfit for office,” Ryan concluded.
Paul Ryan supports amnesty for illegal aliens.
Ryan also supports Joe Biden’s blank check for the war in Ukraine.
And thinks keeping pornographic books that indoctrinated children into homosexuality and transgenderism out of the classroom is a made-up controversy, telling CBS he’s “not a culture war guy.”
