Why Cruise Was at Daytona

Tom Cruise did not show up at Daytona just to pay tribute.

He was there to announce that Days of Thunder – the 1990 NASCAR film he starred in alongside Nicole Kidman – is getting a sequel.

The sequel is scheduled for a 2028 release, with Cruise returning as Cole Trickle.
