Mike Lee Lowered the Boom on Adam Schiff After Schiff Got Caught Headed to a Meeting That Never Should Have Happened

Jun 4, 2026

Adam Schiff once spent four years lecturing America about character, integrity, and the rule of law.

Tuesday, he walked into a private meeting with a Senate candidate who got a Nazi SS tattoo on his chest.

And when Senator Mike Lee saw the footage, he had a question that ended the conversation.

Adam Schiff Shows Up at DSCC to Back Graham Platner Despite Nazi Tattoo Scandal

Graham Platner – the Maine Democrat running to unseat Susan Collins – arrived at Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee headquarters on Capitol Hill Tuesday afternoon amid a pile-up of scandals that would end any Republican's career before breakfast.

Platner said nothing to reporters on the way in and nothing on the way out.

Inside, he met with some of the biggest names in the Senate Democrat caucus: Amy Klobuchar, Ed Markey, Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders, Kirsten Gillibrand, and Adam Schiff.

When Chuck Schumer emerged, he delivered the party line: "I met with Graham Platner today. We're going to beat Susan Collins and take back the Senate."

Mike Lee Drops the Hammer on Schiff Over Graham Platner Nazi Tattoo Meeting

Utah Senator Mike Lee posted the footage of Democrats parading into the building.

His caption: "Graham, where can we get our Nazi tattoos?"

That is the Democrat Party in 2026 – eight words.

Schiff, for his part, had been asked directly by Fox News Digital whether he still supported Platner given the mounting controversies.

His answer: "I'm going to an interview upstairs."

He later told CNN he would "wait to learn more about these recent allegations involving his texting other women."

That is the man who ran the impeachment hearings. The man who told America that Donald Trump was an existential threat to democracy walked into a building Tuesday to shake hands with a candidate who carried an SS death's head tattoo on his chest for nearly two decades.

The Full Graham Platner Totenkopf Tattoo Story Democrats Walked Past

The Totenkopf tattoo is not a disputed fact.

Platner got the Nazi skull-and-crossbones – the same symbol carried by Hitler's SS units – tattooed on his chest in 2007 during a night of drinking in Croatia.

He said he was unaware of its meaning.

An anonymous acquaintance told Jewish Insider that Platner had referred to it as "my Totenkopf" in a 2012 conversation.

His own former political director resigned before the story broke and said publicly: "Graham has an anti-Semitic tattoo on his chest. He's not an idiot, he's a military history buff. Maybe he didn't know it when he got it, but he got it years ago and he should have had it covered up because he knows damn well what it means."

Platner covered the tattoo earlier this year – not because he recognized the problem, but because reporters asked about it.

That is the candidate Democrats chose to meet privately and fundraise for at an event hosted by former Biden chief of staff Ron Klain.

But the tattoo wasn't even why about 30 protesters gathered outside the DSCC on Tuesday.

They were there because Platner maintains an active account on Kik, an app widely known as a platform used by predators to contact minors. The account uses the same handle – "Phustle0331" – linked to his Reddit and Instagram profiles.

Their signs read: "Delete Your KIK." "Platner Messaged Minors." "Platner is a Fraud."

Democrats walked past the bullhorns and went inside anyway.

Elizabeth Warren Backed Graham Platner After Warning About Hegseth Tattoos

Elizabeth Warren – who personally warned Congress that Pete Hegseth's Christian tattoos made him a potential national security threat – endorsed Platner this spring, calling him "the real deal."

Jake Auchincloss, one of the few Jewish Democrats in Congress, called the tattoo "personally disqualifying" and asked Platner to drop out.

Almost no one else did.

John Fetterman's response to the sexting scandal was to compare Platner to Eric Swalwell – which tells you where the bar is set inside the Democrat caucus right now.

Mike Lee's nine words cut through all of it.

Democrats lined up to embrace a candidate who blames military culture for his Nazi tattoo, called a Purple Heart veteran undeserving of life, sexted women behind his wife's back, and runs a Kik account with questions about minor contact still unanswered.

The party of tolerance didn't need answers before walking in.

They needed a Senate seat.
