Hollywood never holds back when it comes to celebrity relationships.
But this time, one rapper took things to a whole new level.
And 50 Cent made one brutal comment about Travis Kelce’s ex that left Taylor Swift fans stunned.
50 Cent gives his verdict on Travis Kelce’s love life
Rapper 50 Cent isn’t known for keeping his opinions to himself.
And the In Da Club hit-maker just proved that once again during a recent interview with Extra TV.
Swift name-dropped the rapper on her new album The Life of a Showgirl, which dropped at the start of October.¹
On the track "Ruin the Friendship," Swift references a 50 Cent song playing during a high school dance when she should have kissed someone.²
When asked about the shoutout, 50 Cent was all smiles.
"It really is cool because when she makes the reference, if you listen to the song, it’s to what was going on in culture at that time," he explained. "No one was more prominent in music at that point."³
But the conversation took an unexpected turn when the interviewer asked about Swift’s relationship with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.
50 Cent didn’t hold back.
"I like her boyfriend too. I like the team. I like KC," he said.⁴
Then came the shot heard round the internet.
"I like it a lot better than the last thing [Kelce] had going on," 50 Cent added with a grin. "It’s a lot better."⁵
The interviewer looked shocked, but the rapper just doubled down.

Kelce dated sports journalist and influencer Kayla Nicole on and off for five years until their final split in May 2022.⁶
During their relationship, they were fixtures at high-profile events and regularly shared photos on social media.
But the romance was rocky behind the scenes.
They broke up and reconciled several times, with rumors of cheating and financial disagreements swirling throughout their time together.⁷
Nicole has been candid about how difficult the public breakup has been, especially with Kelce’s relationship with Swift playing out in the spotlight.
"Going through a public breakup, it’s been overwhelming," Nicole said tearfully during an appearance on Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test. "I’ve never experienced anything like it."⁸
Swift’s new album added fuel to the fire.
On the track "Opalite," Swift sings lyrics that fans immediately interpreted as a dig at Nicole.
"You couldn’t understand it, why you felt alone / You were in it for real, she was in her phone / And you were just a pose," Swift sings.⁹
The internet went wild.
An old video resurfaced showing Kelce telling Nicole to "get off your phone" during what appeared to be a date.¹⁰
"TAYLOR SWIFT JUST CALLED KAYLA NICOLE TF OUT," one fan wrote on X.¹¹

Nicole didn’t stay silent for long.
On the same day Swift’s album dropped, Nicole posted stunning photos from a Hollywood Confidential dinner honoring influential women in entertainment.¹²
"What an honor to share a table with some of the most iconic ‘girlfriends’ of all time," Nicole wrote. "Women whose art has been a mirror and a reminder of what’s possible at every stage of my womanhood."¹³
Later, Nicole reposted a clip from America’s Next Top Model featuring Eva Marcille saying, "I don’t compare myself to other girls. I’m Eva. I’m no comparison to anyone else."¹⁴
Fans read the message loud and clear.
Nicole has also addressed the Swift situation directly on her podcast The Pre-Game With Kayla Nicole.
"If you’re gonna lose, I want to lose to the best team now," Nicole said, taking the high road.¹⁵
She admitted she’s "terrified" of the comments flooding her social media but is trying not to let the negativity affect her.¹⁶
Nicole has sworn off dating athletes after her experience with Kelce.
"I’ll never say never, but I fully, wholeheartedly believe that I am out of the athlete stage," she explained on the Behind the Likes podcast.¹⁷
Swift and Kelce announced their engagement in August after two years of dating.¹⁸
The couple has become one of the most high-profile romances in entertainment and sports.
Meanwhile, 50 Cent continues building his media empire with 40 projects across 12 different networks and a new partnership with luxury cognac brand Lalique.¹⁹
But it’s his comments about Kelce’s love life that have everyone talking.
The rapper made it crystal clear which relationship he thinks works better for the Chiefs star.
