The contempt those in Washington, D.C., Hollywood, corporate America, and other centers of influence feel towards the working class knows no bounds.
They recognize that Americans are fed up with a system that caters exclusively to those with wealth and power, so they’re determined to put them in check before their house of cards falls.
But now Whoopi Goldberg has caught hell after an attack on the working class threatened to breakout into a full scale populist uprising.
The ruling class elites are getting nervous.
Out of touch
The View co-host Whoopi Goldberg – who it is important to remember only chose to give herself the last name Goldberg because she bigotedly believed the anti-Semitic trope that Jewish Hollywood executives controlled the industry – has come under fire once again for being completely out of touch with reality.
During a recent episode of ABC’s mid-morning dumpster fire, her co-hosts discussed the impact the Biden economy and skyrocketing inflation are having on young Americans’ ability to start families.
And Goldberg set off a firestorm when she criticized working-class Americans’ efforts to make enough money to buy a home amid historically high home prices.
“Every generation comes and wants to do better than their parents did,” Goldberg said. “But I’m sorry: If you only want to work four hours, it’s going to be harder for you to get a house.”
“I feel for everybody that feels this,” she added. “We had to bust our behinds because we didn’t have the option of going back.”
Needless to say, social media users went nuclear on Goldberg for losing “track of reality,” as she’s lecturing working-class Americans while making more in an hour than most do in months.
“Whoopi is so nice to comment while making more in an hour than most working people do in two or three months,” one X user wrote.
“More spoiled rich celebs patronizing others,” another X user wrote. “How many hours does Whoop ‘work’? (And sitting in a trailer waiting for other to put production together doesn’t count!!) LOADS of [people] WORK HARDER than Whoopi or Kim [Kardashian] & won’t ever earn a fraction of what those two have been handed.”
“When you’ve been rich for so long, you really do lose track of reality for the average citizen,” a third X user added.
It’s what the elites do
Of course, while the desire to only work four hours per day while being paid six-figure salaries may be prevalent amongst many woke Gen-Zers and Millennials, the truth of the matter is tens of millions of working-class Americans are having the same issues under the Biden economy despite working constantly for years to build a better life to no avail.
And that includes plenty of young Americans who have the added pressure of carrying six-figures worth of student loan debt they were told they had to carry to have a better life.
The Federal Reserve Bank of New York reported earlier this month that total consumer credit card debt hit an all-time high of $1.08 trillion in the third quarter of this year as millions of working-class Americans struggle to make ends meet while the cost of living is skyrocketing as a direct result of the ruling class elites’ incompetence.
But millionaire celebrities, like Whoopi Goldberg, would know nothing about the struggles of working-class Americans.
They simply continue to look down from their ivory towers and spit on everyone “beneath” them.
And thankfully, working-class Americans are finally fighting back and putting the elites in their place.
