There isn’t a woke cause that Kamala Harris once didn’t embrace, but what she now wants to make you forget ever happened.
That’s going to be easier said than done.
And what Kamala Harris was caught on video saying about the national anthem will make you sick.
Kamala Harris supported athletes kneeling for the national anthem
2016 was when kneeling for the national anthem became a thing.
Then San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick began kneeling for the national anthem that year after falsely claiming that police were racist.
That fall, Kamala Harris was the Attorney General for California and a candidate for Senate.
PBS’s David Nazar interviewed Kamala Harris about her Senate campaign and Kaepernick’s anti-national anthem protest came up since it involved a home state team.
“Should folks stand for the national anthem?” Nazar asked Harris.
Kamala Harris defended the national anthem protests as political speech and applauded the athletes who disrespected the memory of America’s fallen soldiers.
“We are all, and should be, treated as equals. We articulated those principles in our Constitution. And part of what we decided is what makes a fair and just and noble society in a democracy, a true democracy, is freedom of religion, freedom, right, of association, freedom to organize, First Amendment,” Kamala Harris stated.
“So, that is part of who we are as a country, and I will defend it to the core, which is that we give people, certain choices in this country,” Kamala Harris added.

Donald Trump takes on the NFL
The following year, the anthem protests became an even bigger issue when Donald Trump told a crowd in Alabama that the owners should fire players who protest the anthem.
The following Sunday, teams across the league kneeled for the anthem in protest, a move that won over few fans.
After George Floyd’s death, the NFL folded in the face of the Black Lives Matter movement and Commissioner Roger Goodell apologized for not being more tolerant of the anthem kneelers.
Trump warned sports leagues they were risking alienating their fan base by placating the woke mob.
“I think it’s been horrible for basketball. Look at the basketball ratings. They’re down to very low numbers. People are angry about it. They don’t realize.… They have enough politics with guys like me. They don’t need more as they’re driving down… going up for the shot. They don’t need it. There’s a nastiness about the NBA about the way it was done too. So I think the NBA is in trouble. It’s in big trouble. Bigger trouble than they understand,” Trump said at the time.
Democrats realized woke ideology is a political loser.
Kamala Harris isn’t running on gender.
Nor is Kamala Harris out campaigning on the idea America is a systemically racist country.
Kamala Harris’ handlers know if voters see her as the woke cheerleader for critical race theory and national anthem kneeling that it would be game over for her campaign.
