Illegal immigration emerged as a top issue of the election after Joe Biden’s open borders policies allowed more than 12 million illegal aliens to enter the United States.
Donald Trump went to work on fulfilling his promise to the border and fix the illegal immigration crisis on his first day in office.
He ended the catch-and-release policy, reinstated the Remain in Mexico policy, declared a national emergency at the border, authorized the military to assist at the border, terminated the CBP-One App, and started mass deportations, among many other actions.
But Joe Biden’s border crisis went beyond illegal immigration.
It poses a threat to the safety and security of every man, woman, and child in America.
Hundreds of thousands of the illegal aliens Joe Biden allowed into the United States are violent and dangerous gang members or have criminal records.
When Trump took office, there were more than 58,000 illegal aliens in New York City who were either convicted felons or were facing criminal charges.
Trump’s actions have already reduced the number of illegal border crises to the lowest levels ever recorded.
According to the ABC News, illegal alien encounters at the border fell by 93% within Trump’s first 11 days in office.
The Department of Homeland Security reported that monthly arrests increased 627% under Trump compared with the last year of Joe Biden’s Presidency.
On Wednesday, Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, Vice President J.D. Vance, and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth visited the border together to meet with Border Patrol agents.
“As President Trump has made clear, border security is national security,” Hegseth said. “From the Defense Department, we’ve watched for a couple of decades other people’s borders being secured while ours was open for an invasion of drugs, violence and chaos for American communities – that stops under President Trump.”

While the drop in border crossings is good news for Americans, Tulsi Gabbard revealed a terrifying fact about Joe Biden’s policies.
“I’ll give you one quick example of one of the problems that we are getting after,” Gabbard said.
“From Central Asia, there were over 4,000 people who came across our borders using an ISIS-affiliated network,” she continued. “Our National Counterterrorism Center went through and identified those individuals, there were hundreds of them who were either known terrorists or associated with known terrorists.”
Gabbard said this information “was provided to the Biden administration.”
However, just over 100 of them were arrested.
And of that 100, Gabbard said only eight were deported or remained in custody.
“The rest of them were released back into our country,” she said. “Where are they? What are they doing? What may they be plotting?” she asked. “This is just the beginning.”
