President Trump just secured what many thought was impossible.
A ceasefire between Israel and Hamas that got the remaining hostages released.
And Trump used two words to destroy Antony Blinken after he tried taking credit for this historic Middle East peace deal.
Trump delivers where Biden and Obama failed for years
After years of the Biden administration fumbling around the Middle East like amateurs, President Trump stepped in and got results in record time.
The deal is straightforward and effective – Hamas releases the approximately 20 living hostages, Israel withdraws to agreed-upon lines, and the fighting stops.
Trump’s team didn’t need years of pointless shuttle diplomacy or endless photo ops with foreign ministers who ignored them.
They used the one thing the Biden crowd never understood – strength backed by credible consequences.
But before Trump could even celebrate this diplomatic breakthrough, Biden’s Secretary of State Antony Blinken jumped into the spotlight to grab some credit.
Blinken took to X to claim Trump simply "adopted and built on the plan the Biden Administration developed after months of discussion with Arab partners, Israel and the Palestinian Authority."
The audacity was stunning, even by Washington, D.C. standards.
This is the same Antony Blinken who looked powerless when Chinese diplomats lectured America in Alaska and sat by helplessly as Putin invaded Ukraine.
Fox News reporter gives Trump the perfect setup
When Fox News reporter Peter Doocy brought up Blinken’s social media claims, asking about Biden administration officials wanting "some credit for the peace deal," Trump’s response was swift and brutal.
Trump’s response was immediate and devastating.
"Everybody knows that’s a joke," Trump fired back.
Those two words – "a joke" – perfectly captured what Americans think about Blinken’s desperate attempt to claim credit.
But Trump wasn’t done dismantling the Biden foreign policy record.
"They did such a bad job. This should’ve never happened. This wouldn’t have even happened. That was weak leadership. Same thing with Russia – Russia and Ukraine," Trump explained to reporters.
The President connected the dots that the media refuses to acknowledge – both October 7th and the Ukraine conflict happened because America looked weak under Biden.
The contrast couldn’t be clearer
Trump reminded everyone what real leadership looks like compared to the previous administration’s disasters.
"Just a decent president…not a great president, like me…if a decent president was in, no Russia-Ukraine. And this is even more so. It was bad policy by Biden and by Obama!" Trump explained.
The President wasn’t just talking about Biden – he correctly identified that Barack Obama’s foreign policy failures created the template for weakness that Biden simply continued.
Blinken’s track record speaks for itself
Look at Blinken’s actual accomplishments as Secretary of State and you’ll understand why Trump called his credit-grabbing attempt "a joke."
Blinken presided over the worst foreign policy disasters in decades.
The Afghanistan withdrawal debacle that got 13 American servicemembers killed and left billions in military equipment for the Taliban.
The complete failure to deter instigation of the conflict over eastern Ukraine, if not complicity in it.
The inability to prevent Hamas from launching the largest attack on Jewish civilians since the Holocaust or the Netanyahu government’s reprisal operations deteriorating into widespread targeting of innocent civilians
As Biden’s secretary of state, Blinken’s department couldn’t even evacuate Americans from Sudan when that country collapsed into civil war.
And now this same Antony Blinken wants credit for Trump’s Middle East breakthrough?
The man spent months flying around the region accomplishing absolutely nothing.
Trump’s two-word verdict resonates
When Trump called Blinken’s credit grab "a joke," he wasn’t just being dismissive.
He was stating a fact that everyone in Washington, D.C. already knows but won’t say publicly.
The Biden foreign policy team was a collection of academics and think tank veterans who confused credentials with competence.
They thought strongly-worded statements and multilateral partnerships could substitute for American strength.
They learned the hard way that terrorists, dictators, and overzealous allies alike, only respect power, not process.
Trump understood this from day one of his first presidency.
Now he’s getting some results that the establishment said were impossible.
"It’s nice they try to take a little credit," Trump added with the kind of dismissive tone you’d use for a child trying to take credit for an adult’s work.
That perfectly captured the relationship between Trump’s actual achievements and the Biden team’s desperate attempts to stay relevant.
The Middle East peace deal if it holds is a major foreign policy victory for the Trump administration.
And Antony Blinken trying to take credit for it really is, as Trump said, a joke.
