Skateboarding legend Tony Hawk got dragged into the Epstein nightmare when DOJ documents dropped his name.
The 57-year-old icon had to defend himself against claims he never imagined facing.
And Tony Hawk shut down this sickening lie after his name hit Jeffrey Epstein documents.
FBI Documents Sparked Wild Accusations Against Skateboarding Icon
The Department of Justice released over 3 million pages of documents related to convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein last week.
Tony Hawk's name appeared in an FBI Threat Intake Examiner report from October 2024.
An anonymous woman who contacted authorities claimed she witnessed Epstein trafficking activities at his private island — and said Tony Hawk got married there.
The woman alleged she was trafficked beginning in early childhood and taken to Epstein's Little Saint James estate in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
According to the FBI document, the caller claimed she was present "when Tony Hawk got married on the island."
The report also mentioned she allegedly saw Prince Andrew at the location during this timeframe.
Social media exploded with accusations against Hawk, who built his reputation as one of the most wholesome figures in action sports.
The skateboarding legend won 73 out of 103 professional competitions during his career and became a household name after landing the first-ever 900 at the 1999 X Games.
He turned professional at age 14 and dominated the sport for decades while maintaining a squeaky-clean image.
The Name Mix-Up That Fueled The Fire
Hawk took to Instagram Thursday to set the record straight with receipts.
"Here are the facts and timelines of my nuptials, and I apologize if they don't fit a narrative of nonsense," Hawk wrote.
He listed all four of his weddings with exact locations and dates.
His first marriage to Cindy Dunbar in 1990 took place at their home in Fallbrook, California.
Wedding number two was to Erin Lee at the Hilton Hotel in San Diego in 1996.
The third ceremony in 2006 married him to Lhotse Merriam on Tavarua Surf Island in Fiji — thousands of miles from Epstein's Caribbean property.
His current wife Catherine Goodman wed him at Adare Manor in Ireland in 2015.
Hawk explained the confusion stemmed from his 2006 Fiji wedding photographer.
"One of the guests in 2006 shot photos of the Fiji ceremony and licensed them to Getty Images. His name is [coincidentally] Mark Epstein," Hawk stated.
Mark Epstein is also the name of Jeffrey Epstein's younger brother.
But Hawk's photographer Mark Epstein is "an accomplished action sports photographer from Wyoming and of no relation to Jeffrey Epstein (who I never met and whose island I never visited)."
The skateboarding icon wrapped up his statement with a direct message about verifiable facts.
"This is all easily verifiable information. Facts are not fungible," Hawk wrote.
He apologized to photographer Mark Epstein for getting "pulled into the misinformation vortex."
Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche admitted Sunday there's nothing in the released documents that could lead to new prosecutions.
"We reviewed the 'Epstein files,' and there was nothing in there that allowed us to prosecute anybody," Blanche told CNN.
The DOJ released over 3.5 million pieces of paper for the entire world to review.
But being named in FBI threat intake reports doesn't equal guilt — these documents contain unverified allegations from single individuals forwarded for "situational awareness."
Hawk joins countless others whose names appeared in documents with zero evidence of wrongdoing.
The X Games icon spent decades building a legacy based on clean living and positive influence on young people.
One false claim in an FBI report threatened to torch everything he worked for — until he produced indisputable proof the allegations were garbage.
