President Donald Trump made good on a campaign promise to remove the Venezuelan prison gang Tren de Aragua from the country with the Alien Enemies Act of 1798.
The law allows Trump to expedite the removal of Tren de Aragua and other illegal alien gangs he designated as foreign terrorist organizations.
District Court Judge James Boasberg – who was appointed by former President Barack Obama – decided that he had the authority to control who Trump deported.
He issued a ruling that demanded the two planes carrying illegal alien gang members to turn around in midflight and bring these terrorists back to American soil.
“Any plane containing these folks that is going to take off or is in the air needs to be returned to the United States however that is accomplished,” Boasberg wrote. “Make sure it’s complied with immediately.”
The White House dismissed the ruling because the planes were over international water and they dropped off the terrorists in Honduras and El Salvador.
Border Czar Tom Homan slammed Judge Boasberg for trying to bring the gang members back to the United States during an appearance on Fox & Friends.
“I don’t know why. I don’t know why any judge would want terrorists returned to the United States,” Homan said.

Homan called a video that Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele posted on social media taking gang members from the plane to the country’s maximum security terrorist prison a “beautiful thing to see.”

Bukele mocked the Obama judge in another social media post saying “Oopsie…Too Late” in reaction to a story about him ordering the flights to return to the United States.
Homan told Fox News that Trump was delivering on his promise to keep America safe by deporting violent gang members.
“The actions of President Trump made this country safer,” Homan explained. “Every criminal alien, every criminal public safety threat and national security threat removed from country makes this country safer. That’s what American voters voted for. That’s the mandate of the president and the president is keeping his promise.”
He argued that using the Alien Enemies Act would be a game changer for deporting Tren de Aragua and other illegal alien gangs.
“This President, President Trump is a game changer,” Homan said. “The Alien Enemies Act hasn’t been used in a long time and when I watched the video and was involved this week when this whole movement, this is an extraordinary thing that President Trump is doing to keep his promise to the American people to make the country safe again and he’s doing a fabulous job.”
