During a White House press briefing that left mainstream media reporters stunned into silence, Homan laid out a brutal truth about what’s coming for those in the country illegally.
“Get your affairs in order. If you’re in the country illegally, work with ICE, go to CBP One Home app, and leave on your own,” Homan stated bluntly.

The self-deportation strategy addresses a key challenge the administration faces. The federal government currently has only 47,000 detention beds available and a limited number of ICE personnel to carry out removals.
Despite these constraints, Homan made it clear that deportations are already running at a pace that far exceeds the Biden administration’s numbers.
Homan utterly demolished media claims that Trump deported fewer people than Biden, exposing how the previous administration manipulated their statistics.
“Am I happy with the numbers? The numbers are good, especially if you look at the ICE numbers. The ICE arrests and removals are far beyond Biden,” Homan revealed. “But I read the media, ‘oh, deportations are behind the Biden administration.’ Well, why? Because they counted border removals.”
The Border Czar’s message couldn’t be clearer: self-deportation is still deportation, and the administration would be thrilled to see illegal aliens take the initiative to leave on their own.
This approach serves a dual purpose. The more illegal aliens who self-deport, the more ICE resources can be focused on removing dangerous criminal aliens who pose a serious threat to American communities.
Homan also exposed fake news about the administration supposedly deporting a two-year-old U.S. citizen. The reality? The administration is committed to keeping families together, and the child’s illegal alien mother chose to take her daughter back to her home country.
“We’re keeping families together. So when a parent says, ‘I want my 2-year-old baby to go with me,’ we made that happen,” Homan explained. “They weren’t deported. We don’t deport U.S. citizens. The parents made that decision, not the United States government.”
The Border Czar’s straight talk is exactly what Americans voted for when they elected Donald Trump. Immigration consistently polls as Trump’s strongest issue with voters, which explains why the mainstream media is desperately running hit pieces claiming Trump is falling short on deportations or recklessly deporting American citizens.
