Tom Homan had one ultimatum for Congress that will scare the hell out of illegal aliens

Tom Homan is delivering fireworks leading the mass deportation effort.

He’s ready to take it to another level.

And Tom Homan had one ultimatum for Congress that will scare the hell out of illegal aliens.

Tom Homan asks Congress to pass Trump’s big beautiful bill

President Donald Trump vowed to carry out the largest mass deportation effort in American history.

He put “Border Czar” Tom Homan in charge of making that happen.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents are conducting nationwide sweeps to arrest illegal aliens who are heinous criminals.

Mass deportation of illegal aliens is a major logistical operation.

ICE is running at capacity in detention facilities that hold illegal aliens while they’re waiting to be deported.

More detention space and beds are needed to increase the number of deportations.

Homan asked Congress to pass Trump’s “one big, beautiful bill” to give the Department of Homeland Security the resources it needs for its mass deportation effort.

Republican members of Congress are debating a budget reconciliation bill that would include $100 billion for border security.

A reconciliation bill would allow it to be passed on a party-line vote and avoid a filibuster by Senate Democrats.

Funding for border security, energy policy, military spending, and the extension and expansion of Trump’s landmark 2017 tax cuts would be rolled up into one massive bill.

The House and the Senate are debating a budget blueprint to begin the reconciliation process.

Passing the budget blueprint would start the negotiations about what to include in the massive reconciliation bill.

Tom Homan needs money to ramp up deportations

The bill would include the funding for the logistics of mass deportation, along with money to finish construction on the border wall and other border security measures.

“We got to hope Congress gets that done, because there is a limited amount of funds,” Homan told Semafor. “And to do more, we got to buy more detention beds. We need more flights. We need more officers. We need more overtime. Bottom line is: The more money we get, the more successful we will be.”

Initially, Congress was going to pass two separate reconciliation bills.

The goal was to pass the border security bill as quickly as possible to get it on Trump’s desk, but combing everything has slowed down the process.

Homan was frustrated by the slow pace of Congress.

“Is it taking too long? Yes, it’s taking too long,” Homan added. “I wish they would have passed it by now.”

Homeland Security sent out a memo to members of Congress warning of the consequences if the mass deportation effort isn’t properly funded.

“Failure to Pass Reconciliation at the Requested Levels will Undo all the Trump Administration’s Massive Successes,” the memo stated.

The establishment Republicans in the Senate are trying to avoid spending cuts, while House conservatives are fighting to make things like the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) cuts permanent.

Properly funding mass deportations will allow Tom Homan and ICE to ramp things up this summer and deliver on Donald Trump’s agenda.
