Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) has been picking fights with Border Czar Tom Homan to raise her political profile ahead of a potential 2028 Presidential bid.
She claimed that Homan was taking away resources to fight real crimes by appearing on Fox News.
“Every time you see Tom Homan on Fox News, every time you see Kristi Noem, every time you see these law enforcement officials doing flashy television interviews, understand that they are taking resources away from looking at human trafficking – they are taking attention, focus, real dollars and real resources away from actual drug enforcement, trafficking enforcement and actually going after and trying to investigate really harmful activity that is happening,” Ocasio-Cortez ranted.
Homan told Ocasio-Cortez to look at the crime statistics after the border was sealed during an appearance on Fox News.
“I take pleasure in the fact I can live in her mind rent free every day. That means I’m over the target. That means I’m making a difference. Bottom line is she needs to look at the data,” Homan said. “ICE is out. We’ve already arrested more criminal illegal aliens in six weeks than the Biden administration did in a year.”
Ocasio-Cortez runs her mouth while Tom Homan delivers
Homan pointed to the 96% drop in illegal immigration at the southern border as a sign fewer criminals were getting into the country.
“The border is sealed. [Exactly] 96% had declined illegal immigration. And when 96% less people are coming across that border, how many children aren’t dying? How many women aren’t being sex trafficked? How many known suspected terrorists aren’t getting in the country? How many pounds of fentanyl isn’t getting in to kill Americans?” Homan asked.
He slammed Ocasio-Cortez for not doing anything to help the country.
“This administration has done more for the safety and security of New York than she’s ever done or ever will do,” Homan declared. “So we’re going to keep doing what we do. I’m not running a popularity contest. If she don’t like me, I’ll wear that as a badge of honor. That means I’m doing the right thing.”
The feud between Ocasio-Cortez and Homan began when he called out her online event “Know Your Rights With ICE.”
Her Congressional official told illegal aliens what they could do to avoid being arrested by ICE.
The Border Czar warned that her webinar would put ICE agents in harm’s way and suggested that the Justice Department should look into prosecuting her.
Ocasio-Cortez fired back by telling him to learn how to read.
Homan called her “the dumbest Congresswoman” for opposing deportations of illegal aliens who’ve committed heinous crimes.
Democrats got drubbed in the 2024 Election because of their support of illegal immigration.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez hasn’t learned that lesson as she picks fights with Homan and the Trump administration.
