Kamala Harris picking Minnesota Governor Tim Walz as her running mate turned into a political fiasco.
Walz hasn’t brought anything to the table.
And Tim Walz’s career ended with this humiliating 25 second video.
Scott Jennings obliterates Tim Walz
Former Nancy Pelosi communications director Ashley Etienne claimed on State of the Union that Kamala Harris committed an act of political genius by selecting Walz as her running mate.
Etienne argued that because Walz was a white guy from Minnesota he could help Democrats appeal to moderate voters in rural communities that began fleeing the Democrat Party in 2016 to become Trump supporters.
“You look at JD Vance, was supposed to somehow expand Donald Trump’s reach. Instead, he actually has done more damage – harm than good,” Etienne stated. “But you look at Governor Walz, the reason why it’s a smart, smart pick. The reason why he was picked is to bridge the cultural divide, to reach out to constituencies that the Democratic Party’s had problems reaching. Moderate Republicans, disaffected Republicans, independent Republicans. You know, he’s signaling to a constituency that you can vote for this ticket, so he’s incredibly consequential to Kamala Harris.”
Jake Tapper asked CNN commentator and Republican strategist Scott Jennings to respond.
Jennings could barely contain his disgust with Walz, whom he called a “buffoon,” adding that it was a disgrace that Walz attacked J.D. Vance for attending Yale by claiming Vance was an elitist sell out because none of the students Walz taught in high school attended an Ivy League school.
“Well, first of all, I don’t find him to be consequential. Second of all, Walz is a buffoon, I’m sorry, this guy. He’s the only school teacher in America who brags that none of his students can get into an Ivy League school,” Jennings began.
It spoke more to Walz’s abilities as a teacher than Vance’s values that Walz didn’t produce a single Ivy League graduate.
Walz called out for stolen valor
Jennings then turned to the fact that Kamala Harris’ handlers sent Walz to the same media witness protection program they stashed Kamala Harris away in.
Walz only did one interview – a joint appearance with Kamala Harris where fangirl Dana Bash lobbed softballs.
Jennings dinged Walz for in that one interview giving an embarrassingly bad answer about his lies about deploying to Iraq to fight in the war where Walz told Bash his stolen valor was the result of “bad grammar.”
“He’s had one consequential press interaction with our Dana Bash, who asked him about the fabrications in his own resume, and his answer was essentially, ‘Me no understand words good.’ I mean, he’s a buffoon. He’s on a free ride, for running under Harris, he gets very little press. They don’t let him talk to the press for a reason,” Jennings added.

Tim Walz has been of no benefit to the Kamala Harris campaign.
Kamala’s handlers think the less Americans see of him, the better.
In just 25 seconds, Scott Jennings showed why.
