If you need any more proof that Democrats have completely tipped the scales of “justice” in America in their favor, look no further than this Democrat Congressman.
While working-class Americans face years in prison for far less, the ruling-class elites were sure to protect their own.
And now this Democrat Congressman just got a laughable slap on the wrist that proves America’s two-tiered justice system is getting worse.
Democrats’ rigged justice system comes in handy
Last month, as Democrats and their media allies ran around Washington, D.C., hysterically hyperventilating over a government shutdown, Republicans were on the verge of passing a continuing resolution to avoid the shutdown.
Of course, Democrats couldn’t blame Republicans for the shutdown if they acted to avert the shutdown, so Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-NY) took matters into his own hands.
Rep. Bowman walked down a hallway in the Capitol building and proceeded to pull a fire alarm in what was rather obviously an attempt to delay the legislative process, which, based on federal law, is “Obstruction of a Federal Proceeding,” the very same charge more than 1,000 working-class Americans who were present for January 6 now face prison time over.

Ultimately, Capitol Police investigated the matter and issued a criminal referral to Washington, D.C., Democrat Attorney General Brian Schwalb with “charges” for the prosecution to consider filing against the Democrat Congressman.
“We finished our investigation,” Capitol Police told The Daily Wire. “Our agents gathered all the evidence, packaged it up, and sent the entire case with charges to prosecutors for their consideration.”
But rather than face the actual consequences every working-class American would face for such a crime, the Democrat Attorney General chose to give Bowman a slap on the wrist.
“D.C. Attorney General Brian Schwalb levied one misdemeanor count of falsely pulling a fire alarm against Bowman for the incident on September 30, according to court documents,” The Daily Wire reported. “Bowman has been ordered to report to the U.S. Capitol Police (USCP) headquarters on Thursday to be booked, fingerprinted, photographed, and processed. He is expected to appear in D.C. Superior Court at 9:30 a.m.”
And to make matters even worse, Schwalb has even already worked out a deal with Rep. Bowman that will allow him to avoid the up to six-month prison sentence the charge carried and have the charge dropped entirely from his record so long as he pleads guilty to the lesser charge, pays a $1,000 fine, and issues a mealy-mouthed apology.

All the evidence is apparently meaningless
According to The Daily Wire, the arrest affidavit even detailed security footage that showed Bowman literally running away from the fire alarm and past law enforcement officers without saying anything about the alarm, yet the Democrat Congressman was given a total pass for his actions.
“Therefore, based upon the evidence, this affiant has probable cause to believe that the defendant willfully or knowingly gave a false fire alarm within the District of Columbia, in violation,” the affidavit stated after noting there was no fire.
As expected, Bowman couldn’t have been happier to have a fellow Democrat let him completely off scot free, despite the evidence suggesting he committed a far more serious crime.
“I’m thankful for the quick resolution from the District of Columbia Attorney General’s office on this issue and grateful that the United States Capitol Police General Counsel’s office agreed I did not obstruct nor intend to obstruct any House vote or proceedings,” Bowman’s staff wrote on his behalf in a statement. “I am responsible for activating a fire alarm, I will be paying the fine issued, and look forward to these charges being ultimately dropped.”
Ironically, though, shortly after the charge was filed against him, the actual video of Rep. Bowman pulling the fire alarm was released, further proving his version of events – that it was simply an “accident” he committed while rushing to a floor vote – is a total fabrication.
In the video, the Democrat can be seen walking up to the fire alarm, pulling down all the warning signs about it being a fire alarm, and then pulling the fire alarm, clearly proving he made an intentional decision to pull the alarm to delay a Congressional proceeding.

But obviously, now that the Democrat prosecutor has already charged Bowman with a lesser crime, this will all be swept under the rug, and Washington, D.C., will just move on.
Make no mistake about it, though, Jamaal Bowman knew exactly what he was doing, and anyone who would stoop to his level has no business being a Member of Congress.
