This Congressman just released new January 6 video that proves a Capitol Police officer lied in court

The cover-up of the events of January 6 is unraveling.

And the American people are finding out just how corrupt the justice system is.

Because this Congressman just released new January 6 video that proves a Capitol Police officer lied in court.

Congressman Barry Loudermilk (R-GA) recently released some shocking new video images from January 6, 2021.

Lazarus lying

The video shows the movements that day of a Capitol Police officer who appears to have given false testimony regarding his location that day when he claimed he had an important encounter with members of the Oath Keepers.

Testimony that resulted in the conviction of the Oath Keepers.

Loudermilk, chairman of the Committee on House Administration Subcommittee on Oversight, explained in a statement why he released the footage.

He said he released the still frames — from closed-circuit TV video with timestamps — of a U.S. Capitol Police Special Agent David Lazarus because “an allegation of a Capitol Police officer lying under oath is very serious and must be fully investigated.”

The allegations of Lazarus lying on the stand first came from Blaze News’ Steve Baker’s October 4 investigative story, which was based in part on his exhaustive examination of January 6 CCTV video to which he was given access.

In that story, Baker pointed out that DOJ prosecutors were single-minded in their zeal to prove the Oath Keepers were guilty of trying to overthrow the U.S. government.

These prosecutors claimed members of the Oath Keepers were involved in a hostile confrontation with law enforcement at the top of the stairs next to the Capitol Rotunda.

The video tells the truth

But Baker pointed out prosecutors did not present any video evidence from Capitol CCTV cameras of this alleged encounter to the jury.

Despite the known existence of at least 1,700 cameras in and around the building and grounds and 41,000 hours of video footage from that day.

In fact, Baker went even further and pointed out much of the video footage has been purposely kept from the January 6 protestors’ public defenders.

Baker went on to say DOJ prosecutors instead relied on the testimony of two Capitol Hill law enforcement officers.

One of those officers is Lazarus, who was a member of the security detail for then-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA).

Lazarus testified under oath that he passed USCP Officer Harry Dunn in the midst of a hostile engagement with four Oath Keepers “three or four times” while he was evacuating Pelosi staffers from her chambers.

However, as Baker pointed out after reviewing the tapes, Lazarus could not have witnessed that “because Lazarus was in another Senate office building across the street from Constitution Ave. at the time the encounter between Dunn and the Oath Keepers began.”

Baker said his investigation tracked Lazarus “while he was escorting Senators and staff on Capitol CCTV cameras.”

Baker also said, “At 2:56:46 p.m., Lazarus can be seen finally reaching the bottom of the staircase – at the top of which he claimed to have witnessed Dunn’s ‘very antagonistic’ interaction with four Oath Keepers ‘3 or 4′ times while rescuing ’11 or 12’ of Pelosi’s staff from their offices.”

Baker took to X and added the following details:

“Dunn and Lazarus contradicted each other in their respective Oct. 31, 2022, trial testimonies. Dunn first claimed to have seen Lazarus already at the top of that staircase when he arrived at 2:44 p.m., being “hassled” by protestors.

By contrast, Lazarus testified that he saw Dunn already standing at the top of the staircase landing when he came up from behind him on those stairs. Both men lied in their conflicting stories because Lazarus was in a Senate office building at that moment in time.

“It is a physical impossibility for either Dunn or Lazarus to have seen what they claimed in their testimonies in the Oath Keepers trial, and this is borne out by what myself and other @theblaze analysts saw on Capitol CCTV videos from access given to us by @RepLoudermilk.”

No wonder DOJ prosecutors didn’t want to use the video evidence; it clearly contradicts the testimony of their key witness.

It seems the Biden DOJ will go to any lengths to persecute and prosecute Americans.
