Few pro sports leagues would ever tell the cancel mob to pound sand.
But the UFC is the pro sports league like no other.
And the UFC President shut down a woke reporter with one brutal truth.
After the event, a reporter asked UFC boss Dana White about the “long leash” he gives fighters to express themselves.
White shot down the reporter by saying all he does is support freedom of speech.
“I don’t give anybody a leash,” White stated. “A leash? Free speech. Control what people say? And to tell people what to believe? I don’t f#cking tell any other human being what to say, what to think, and there’s no leashes on any of them.”
“That’s ridiculous to say I give somebody a leash,” White continued. “Free speech, brother. People can say whatever they want and they can believe whatever they want.”
One of the reasons UFC is so popular is because White gives the fighters the ability to let fans know who they really are by expressing themselves, which builds an emotional attachment as the public invests themselves in the competitors as people.
Strickland set off a wave of controversy in the liberal sports media when, in the pre-fight press conference, he ripped a reporter as the “enemy” and the “swamp” for trying to ask a “gotcha” question about an old tweet of Strickland’s where he opposed the homosexual political agenda.
UFC 297 took place in Toronto, and Strickland tore into the reporter for helping to re-elect tyrannical Prime Minister Justin Trudeau after Trudeau froze the bank accounts of truck drivers protesting the COVID-19 vaccine mandate.
“You’re a weak f#cking man, dude,” Strickland said. “You’re part of the f#cking problem. You elected Justin Trudeau when he seized the bank accounts. You’re just f#cking pathetic. And the fact that you have no f#cking backbone as he shut down your f#cking country and seized bank accounts, you asked me some stupid shit like that? Go f#ck yourself. Move the f#ck on, man. F#cking coward.”
Strickland also defended the Bud Light boycott, saying 10 years ago everyone would have recognized transgenderism as a mental illness, and now people want to push this lifestyle on children.
“Here’s the thing about Bud Light,” Strickland declared. “Ten years ago, to be trans was a mental fucking illness; and now, all of sudden, people like you have fucking weaseled your way in the world. You are an infection. You are the definition of weakness. Everything that is wrong with the world is because of f#cking you.”
The media is furious that White doesn’t censor his fighters, as liberals believe every institution should work on behalf of their political project.
The UFC and Dana White don’t play that game, which is one reason why the UFC is such a juggernaut.
