The liberal media got caught telling this big lie about J.D. Vance

Sep 10, 2024

The press coverage of the 2024 election has been the most biased in history.

Media outlets are openly rooting for Kamala Harris to defeat Donald Trump.

And the liberal media got caught telling this big lie about J.D. Vance.

Associated Press lies about J.D. Vance comments on school tragedy

A 14-year-old gunman killed four and wounded at least nine others in a tragedy at a high school in Windsor, Georgia.

Gun grabbers in the media and Kamala Harris seize on these shootings as a chance to push gun control.

J.D. Vance took a different approach.

Speaking at a rally in Phoenix, J.D. Vance declared that government needed to take greater action to secure security.

“If these psychos are going to go after our kids we’ve got to be prepared for it,” Vance told the crowd. “We don’t have to like the reality that we live in, but it is the reality we live in. We’ve got to deal with it.”

Trump’s running mate regretted that this is the world, but that the nation needed to deal with it by taking strong steps to keep kids safe.

Vance said schools could protect children by arming guards and allowing teachers to conceal carry if they so choose.

“I don’t like that this is a fact of life,” Vance added. “But if you are a psycho and you want to make headlines, you realize that our schools are soft targets. And we have got to bolster security at our schools. We’ve got to bolster security so if a psycho wants to walk through the front door and kill a bunch of children they’re not able.”

The Associated Press’ post on X about the event excluded Vance’s expression of remorse and how he said America must safeguard schools.

Instead, it merely read “J.D. Vance says school shootings are a ‘fact of life,’ calls for greater security.”

A social media uproar occurred as conservatives blasted the Associated Press for posting misleading accounts of what Vance said to try and smear him as heartless and indifferent to children dying because he opposed gun control.

The Associated Press deleted the tweet and posted a new one with a caption that more accurately described what Vance said.

“JD Vance says he laments that school shootings are a ‘fact of life’ and calls for better security,” the post stated.

“This post replaces an earlier post that was deleted to add context to the partial quote from Vance,” the Associated Press also wrote.

The mistake was the point

Vance spokesperson William Martin slammed the Associated Press’ original post as yet another example of unhinged liberal bias.

“This is yet another case of the fake news media brazenly lying about a Republican politician. Senator Vance said exactly the opposite of what the Associated Press claimed,” Martin told Breitbart.

Martin contrasted Vance’s support for hardening school security with Kamala Harris fighting to remove police officers from schools.

“It should come as no surprise that the AP lost any and all credibility it had years ago, because they will lie about literally anything in order to prop up the Democrats. Meanwhile, Kamala Harris has called for all police officers to be removed from schools, putting children all over America at risk. It’s yet another example of how Kamala Harris’s weak, failed, and dangerously liberal agenda makes her unfit for office,” Martin concluded.

But conservatives don’t see an honest mistake.

They think the original post by the Associated Press was a deliberate attempt to sway voters through a false representation of what Vance said by the fact that the mistakes always run in one direction -against Trump – and the fact that the original and false headlines always goes way more viral than the correction.
