The co-hosts on ABC’s The View are some of the most anti-Trump personalities on television.
They tried to shame Pennsylvania Senator John Fetterman for refusing to participate in their anti-MAGA vitriol.
But the harpies on The View nearly fainted when John Fetterman made this surprising appeal to their viewers.
Pennsylvania Senator John Fetterman (D-PA) has shown a willingness to go against his Party in the aftermath of Trump’s landslide victory over Kamala Harris.
Fetterman traveled to Mar-a-Lago and had dinner with Donald Trump, he supported plans to acquire Greenland, voted for the Laken Riley Act, and he met with Tulsi Gabbard and Pete Hegseth.
Of course, this has many Democrats and left-wing media elites furious with Fetterman.
On Monday, Fetterman appeared as a guest on ABC’s The View where he discussed everything from Trump’s New York City trial to Hunter Biden to his recent trip to Mar-a-Lago.
Fetterman hit the co-hosts with a truth bomb about Donald Trump’s hush money trial and how it was politically motivated.
“I’m on record criticizing going after Hunter Biden,” Fetterman said. “And I also agree that the trial in this city, in New York, was politically motivated,” he continued. “That wouldn’t otherwise have been prosecuted if it was someone else.”
This infuriated co-host Sunny Hostin.
“I’m sorry,” she said. “Did you mean the 34-count case in which Donald Trump was found guilty of various financial crimes was politically motivated here in New York?”
But Fetterman refused to back down or retreat from his position.
“I found that when the judicial system gets weaponized and targeting political enemies for political gain, I think that is inappropriate,” Fetterman shot back.
“And I think that degrades our collective trust in this very important institution,” he continued. “Whether that is a Democrat going after a Republican or a Republican going after a Democrat, I like to think I call it strikes and balls, the judicial system has to remain impartial.”
“I mean that is really the cornerstone of our society,” he added.
Fetterman was the first Senate Democrat to travel to Mar-a-Lago to meet with Trump.
He and his wife Gisele traveled to Mar-a-Lago for dinner with Donald Trump where they discussed tariffs, steel, and American manufacturing.
Co-host Ana Navarro told Fetterman that she “didn’t love the optics of you going to Mar-a-Lago.”
But Fetterman responded by pointing out that Donald Trump was “kind and cordial.”
“I think overall it was a positive experience,” he said.
“I mean, he was — he was kind, he was cordial,” before adding that “it was really just a conversation.”
Fetterman said he and his wife talked with Trump for more than an hour and found common ground on an array of issues.
“Overall, it was just a straight-up conversation,” Fetterman said.
As for Trump’s first week in office, Fetterman wondered why The View co-hosts and other leftists were shocked by his executive orders.
“Honestly, I haven’t been surprised by anything now,” Fetterman said. “I mean, he’s been doing essentially what he actually campaigned on.”
“He announced he is going to pardon the January 6 individuals, he is absolutely going to go after the border, so there’s a lot of things that he’s already ran on,” Fetterman said.
“I criticize a lot of it, and I don’t agree with everything either, but it’s undeniable he actually ran on that and been really upfront,” he continued. “He’s like, ‘I am your retribution,’ and, you know, he’s kind of making those moves.”
Fetterman ended by delivering a message directly to The View’s audience.
And it was a message that fans of The View rarely if ever hear.
Fetterman urged them to drop the Trump hate and try to find common ground on issues where they agree.
“I hope, maybe you [who] are watching, you’re tired of just the venom and the hate, and it’s like, I’d want more bipartisan kinds of things,” he said.
Conservatives should not be fooled by John Fetterman’s recent actions.
Fetterman is a far-Left Bernie Sanders-style socialist.
He supports gun control, transgender surgeries for young children, and other extreme far-Left positions.
But Fetterman represents a state that Donald Trump won in 2016 and 2024.
And he’s trying to position himself to get re-elected in a swing state like Pennsylvania.
