Philadelphia's soft-on-crime district attorney just picked a fight with the wrong people.
Larry Krasner spent the week threatening federal law enforcement agents with arrest and prosecution.
And the Department of Homeland Security laughed when this Soros-backed DA threatened ICE agents.
Krasner calls ICE agent's self-defense "murder"
Larry Krasner was impeached by the Pennsylvania House in 2022 for "dereliction of duty and refusal to enforce the law."
The George Soros-backed prosecutor received $1.7 million from Soros' Justice and Public Safety PAC for his campaigns.
Since Krasner took office in 2017, Philadelphia's homicide rate exploded from 262 murders to a record 562 in 2021.
But Krasner doesn't prosecute criminals.
He champions them.
That's why he held a press conference last Thursday to condemn an ICE agent who shot anti-ICE activist Renee Nicole Good in Minneapolis.
Video footage shows Good driving her SUV into a federal agent after refusing repeated orders to exit her vehicle.
The agent had been dragged hundreds of yards by a fleeing illegal alien during a previous operation.
He fired in self-defense as Good accelerated toward him.
DHS Secretary Kristi Noem confirmed the agent feared for his life and acted appropriately.
But Krasner called it "murder."
"You don't want this smoke"
Krasner flanked himself with fellow anti-ICE radicals at the press conference.
Philadelphia Sheriff Rochelle Bilal stood beside him calling ICE agents "made-up, fake, wannabe law enforcement."
She threatened federal agents with her own tough-guy routine.
"You don't want this smoke, because we will bring it to you," Bilal warned.
Krasner went even further with his threats.
"If any law enforcement agent, any ICE agent, is going to come to Philly to commit crimes, then you can get the eff out of here," Krasner declared.
"I will charge you with those crimes. You will be arrested. You will stand trial. You will be convicted," he continued.
"Donald Trump cannot pardon you for a state court conviction. Do you hear me, ICE agents? Do you hear me, National Guard? Do you hear me, military?"
The district attorney who refuses to prosecute actual criminals suddenly discovered his inner law-and-order voice.
But only when it comes to federal agents doing their jobs.
DHS responds with brutal mockery
Over the weekend, Krasner posted a photo of himself on X wearing sunglasses with "FAFO" emblazoned on them.
The 64-year-old tried to look tough with his "f**k around, find out" message to ICE and the National Guard.
"To ICE and the National Guard: If you commit crimes in Philadelphia, we will charge you and hold you accountable to the fullest extent of the law," he wrote.
The post got ratioed immediately.
The National Police Association fired back with perfect accuracy.
"Unlike criminals in Philadelphia who get their charges dropped by the DA," they replied.
Mike Howell from the Oversight Project pointed out Krasner's legal ignorance.
"The fullest extent of the state law would be nothing since they're Federal officials. Don't lose your bar license dude," Howell wrote.
But the Department of Homeland Security delivered the knockout punch.
They responded to Krasner's threats with multiple dismissive posts.
"Oh no! Anyway," DHS posted.
That's all federal law enforcement had to say to this clown.
The numbers tell the ugly story
Philadelphia recorded 2,501 violent crimes per 100,000 residents under Krasner — the highest rate in the nation.
But Krasner's office drops charges in 67% of cases, twice the rate of other Pennsylvania prosecutors.
Between 2015 and 2021, only 21% of nearly 9,000 shootings led to criminal charges.
Fewer than one-tenth of those resulted in convictions.
He even created an Immigration Counsel position specifically to help illegal aliens avoid deportation by reducing their charges.
But when ICE agents defend themselves from someone trying to run them over?
That's "murder" according to Krasner.
One of his releases was Jahmir Harris, who had fired 17 shots at someone in a 2012 drug deal.
Krasner got Harris released over spurious concerns about his conviction.
Harris promptly murdered someone else.
This pattern plays out constantly in Philadelphia while Krasner threatens federal agents instead of prosecuting the criminals terrorizing his city.
Trump's border enforcement exposes the Left's real priority
Krasner's meltdown reveals what Democrats actually care about.
They'll protect violent criminals and illegal aliens while attacking law enforcement officers trying to keep Americans safe.
The ICE agent Krasner condemned was literally being run over by an activist blocking federal operations.
Video from multiple angles proves it.
But Krasner held a moment of silence for the woman who tried to kill a federal agent.
He led a chant of her name like she was some kind of martyr.
Then he threatened to arrest ICE agents for defending themselves.
This is what Trump's immigration enforcement faces in blue cities.
Soros-backed prosecutors protecting illegal aliens over American citizens.
Sheriffs calling federal law enforcement "fake" while their cities drown in violence.
Local officials openly defying federal authority and threatening to arrest agents for doing their jobs.
The Trump administration isn't backing down.
DHS made that crystal clear with their response to Krasner's tough-guy routine.
"Oh no! Anyway."
That's the only response these radical prosecutors deserve.
