Pop star Taylor Swift is used to receiving a rock star welcome every time she enters a stadium.
She’s quickly discovering that professional football is an entirely different world than music.
And Taylor Swift was reduced to tears after football fans gave her this brutal rejection.
Pop star Taylor Swift has become one of the biggest stories of this football season, much to the dismay of many fans of the NFL.
Swift began dating Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, which created a media frenzy.
The cameras during the Chiefs’ games frequently cut to her in a luxury box, and she became a bigger story than the play on the field.
The Chiefs traveled to Buffalo, New York, to play the Buffalo Bills in the AFC Divisional Round of the playoffs.
Swift’s fans in the city were excited to welcome her and began pleading with Bills fans not to boo her at the game.
The Bills are known for their rowdy fanbase nicknamed the “Bills Mafia,” which draws inspiration from the blue-collar city.
The Bills Mafia was ready to give Swift a rude welcome to the city for the AFC playoff showdown.
A fan on a popular Bills Facebook page vowed to “Make Taylor Swift cry.”
Other fans online encouraged everyone attending the game to boo Swift.
Swift’s fans took over the Bills’ Facebook page to try and protect her from the wrath of Bills fans.
“If you guys (saw) the posts and requests we have gotten … you’d think this was a Taylor Swift fan club group more than a Bills Mafia page,” an admin on the Official Buffalo Bills Mafia page said.
All references to Swift had to be banned from the page.
Swift traveled to Buffalo to support Kelce as the Chiefs try to repeat as Super Bowl champions.
As she exited her SUV with security to enter the stadium, she was greeted with cheers that were slowly overwhelmed with boos.

She ignored the boos and blew a kiss to the crowd that gathered to see her.
Swift once again distracted from the game as the camera cut to her and her entourage in the VIP suite.
The constant attention she gets at Chiefs’ games made her the target of a joke by comedian Jo Koy at the Golden Globes Awards.
“The big difference between the Golden Globes and the NFL – on the Golden Globes, we have fewer camera shots of Taylor Swift,” Koy joked. “I swear, there’s just more to go to.”
The camera panned to Swift, who had a scowl on her face after the joke as she took a sip from her drink.
The Kansas City Chiefs beat the Bills after a missed field goal 27-24 to head to the AFC title game.
NFL fans will have to deal with Taylor Swift being the center of attention for at least one more game this season.
