Taylor Swift Reportedly Cut Her Former Best Friend From Her Wedding After Years of Cold Silence and That is Just the Beginning

Jul 1, 2026

Taylor Swift once said she wanted to bake cookies with her best friend, supermodel Karlie Kloss.

Then Kloss vanished from her songs, her squad photos and her birthday posts.

Now sources say she's vanished from the guest list too.

The Friendship Cooled Years Before The Snub Was Confirmed

Kloss isn't just another name on a guest list. She's a Victoria's Secret runway veteran who spent the better part of a decade as Swift's closest confidante, the kind of friend who got her own guest room at Swift's apartment.

Swift and Kloss were once inseparable, road trips, Vogue covers, matching squad appearances at every red carpet for years.

Then Kloss left Swift's name off her birthday post in 2017.

Swift's name dropped off Kloss' "Look What You Made Me Do" T-shirt the same year.

Insiders told Page Six Swift "got upset over something crazy" and the friendship never recovered.

Three years later Swift dropped "It's Time to Go," with a lyric about a sister whose words "come back in whispers" and who turned out to be "a crook who was caught."

Swifties have spent five years certain that song was about Kloss.

Kloss skipped Swift's wedding invite math entirely by marrying Joshua Kushner in 2018, an event Swift did not attend.

Now Page Six reports Kloss isn't on the list for the biggest night of Swift's life either.

Gigi Hadid And Selena Gomez Made The Cut. So Did Antoni Porowski's Silence.

Gigi Hadid and Selena Gomez are the two women confirmed for Swift's bridal party, according to Harper's Bazaar.

Page Six reports Zoë Kravitz, Ed Sheeran, Haim and Suki Waterhouse have also already received invitations.

Antoni Porowski, who appeared in Swift's "You Need to Calm Down" video, got hit with the obvious wedding question on Watch What Happens Live.

"They're getting married?" Porowski said. "I should really send some flowers or some kind of a congratulations."

Andy Cohen wasn't buying it for a second.

"And because he didn't answer your question, that means he is going," Cohen told the audience.

Porowski happily talked about the green herb meatballs Swift once cooked him.

He would not say one word about the wedding itself.

That kind of dodge only works on a guest list this loaded, and this picked apart.

Miles Teller, Keleigh Sperry Also Off The List. Blake Lively Is The Real Story.

Page Six also reports Miles Teller and his wife, Keleigh Sperry, did not get an invitation after a falling out with Swift.

But the name generating the most attention is Blake Lively.

Lively and Swift were once the picture of a celebrity friendship, birthday dinners, public praise, the whole circuit.

Then Lively's legal war with Justin Baldoni over "It Ends With Us" pulled Swift directly into a courtroom.

Baldoni's lawyers subpoenaed Swift, claiming she sat in on script discussions and that Lively referred to Swift and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, as her "dragons" in a text message.

Swift's team called the subpoena "tabloid clickbait" and said her only connection to the film was licensing one song.

Baldoni's lawyer also accused Lively's camp of pressuring Swift's team for a statement of support, under threat that private texts could surface.

Lively's side called that claim "categorically false."

Baldoni eventually dropped the subpoena, but the damage to Lively and Swift's public friendship was already done.

The two have not been photographed together since.

Lively is reportedly not expected at the wedding.

What This Guest List Actually Tells You

Look at who made the cut and who didn't, and the pattern is obvious.

Swift kept the people who stayed loyal through her public fights and cut the ones who created problems for her in court or in the press.

Kloss got close to people Swift considers enemies and lost her spot.

Lively dragged Swift's name into a $400 million lawsuit and lost her spot too.

Gomez and Hadid never wavered, and they're standing up at the altar.

Even Porowski's on-air dodge fits the pattern, he knows exactly how protective Swift's circle has become, and he wasn't about to be the one who confirmed details before she's ready.

This wedding has turned into a tell-all about which friendships actually survived the Taylor Swift era.
