James Talarico stood on the Texas House floor and told his colleagues God is nonbinary.
Now he's the Democrat nominee for the U.S. Senate in Texas and the Republican who just took down RINO Dan Crenshaw's career is spilling what he witnessed from Talarico during their time in the Texas State House.
What Toth said about Talarico on national radio is something Christian conservatives won't forget.
Steve Toth Unloads on the Texas Democrat Who Says God Is Nonbinary
Fresh off his Tuesday primary upset over Crenshaw – the only House Republican in Texas who went into election day without Trump's endorsement – state Rep. Steve Toth went on The Charlie Kirk Show and did not hold back.
Toth said he served alongside Talarico for years in the Texas state House.
He watched him block bill after bill – election integrity, protecting children from social transitioning – killed every time by Democrats.
"When I put forth legislation to secure our elections, it gets killed by the Democrats," Toth said. "When I put forth legislation to end the social transition of children, it gets killed by the Democrats."
Then Toth named Talarico directly.
"It's evil. Talarico is part of that group. I served with James Talarico from 2019 through to today. This guy is as evil as they come."
He didn't stop there.
"There is a darkness to this man's life," Toth said. "If you doubt that there is a wickedness and an evil and a demonic presence in the world, you only have to look at James Talarico."
The James Talarico Record Texas Voters Need to See Before November
Toth knows Talarico better than most – and the record backs up every word.
Talarico is a seminary student who has built his entire political brand around twisting Scripture to support a radical left agenda.
In 2021, while opposing a bill to keep men out of women's sports, he stood on the Texas House floor and claimed the Bible's opening lines prove God is nonbinary.
"God is both masculine and feminine and everything in between," Talarico said. "God is nonbinary."
On The Joe Rogan Experience in 2025, he took it further – arguing that the story of the angel Gabriel appearing to Mary before the birth of Christ is actually a scriptural endorsement of abortion.
He has taught that there are six genders.
On the border, Talarico says he wants a "giant welcome mat" for people trying to come in – paired with what he calls a lock on the door, though his record in Austin shows exactly how he defines that lock.
Democrats are celebrating him as their best shot at flipping a Texas Senate seat blue for the first time in 33 years.
Beto O'Rourke tried the same thing. Raised $80 million. Lost by more than 200,000 votes.
Why Trump Called Talarico More Woke Than Jasmine Crockett
Trump called Talarico "a terribly weak candidate" who is "more woke than even the very highly untalented Jasmine Crockett."
The Republican National Committee didn't mince words either.
"James Talarico is a woke nutjob," RNC spokesman Zach Kraft told the Daily Caller News Foundation. "Texas will not break its 32-year Republican streak to elect a man obsessed with telling the world that 'God is nonbinary' and that there are six genders."
This is the play Democrats keep running – find a candidate who can quote Scripture and dress the most extreme positions in the party as Christian virtue.
Talarico beat Jasmine Crockett in Tuesday's primary and now faces either Senator John Cornyn or Attorney General Ken Paxton in November, depending on which Republican survives a May runoff.
Cornyn already told Fox News Digital that Talarico and Crockett both "should be running for the Senate in California, not in Texas."
Toth – an ordained pastor who just ended Crenshaw's career on a wave of genuine grassroots conservative energy – heads to Congress knowing exactly what the real battle looks like.
Democrats want a wolf in a seminary collar.
Texas voters are going to see right through it.
