House Speaker Mike Johnson wants everyone to think that he’s “MAGA Mike.”
But “MAGA Mike” is hiding something.
And Steve Bannon exposed this sick truth about Mike Johnson.
Steve Bannon calls House Speaker Johnson out on the carpet
House Speaker Mike Johson (R-LA) tried to ram through a 1,500-page spending bill that funded Joe Biden’s online censorship of conservatives and protected the January 6 Committee members like Liz Cheney from investigation.
Johnson gave away the store to Democrats in a bill that increased spending by hundreds of billions of dollars and tied the hands of Donald Trump from dismantling Biden’s agenda by locking its funding into place.
Conservatives were furious.
War Room host Steve Bannon slammed Johnson as the Democrat Speaker of the House.
“Vote no on this, make the Democrats pass– Oh hell, Johnson’s a Democrat. He’s a Democrat!” Bannon exclaimed.
Bannon fumed that Johnson used his devout Christian faith and fluency in the language of social conservatives on one or two issues to hide the fact that he is no different than past RINO Speakers of the House like John Boehner, Paul Ryan, and Kevin McCarthy
“He holds the Bible. He’s got the he’s got the New Testament wrapped up tight. He can talk happy talk on a handful of social issues. You know, checking his son’s porn sites. I don’t know all this crazy nonsense. He does all that. He goes down there,” Bannon added.
“He’s a big, deep Christian. Except when it comes to showing courage and being courageous and maybe bringing people in. So it’s not a surprise. So now the media can sit there with a big old shotgun to your head and go, ‘Oh my gosh,’” Bannon continued.
Johnson goes along with the usual media fake news
Bannon ripped Johnson for acting like the typical RINO who folds at the first negative headline about how a government shutdown means social security checks won’t go out or that NORAD won’t be able to stage their usual Christmas event of tracking Santa Claus.
“No, Social Security checks is going to be called. It’s going to be dark for Christmas Day. Granny is going to freeze. The parks are going to be closed. Smithsonian is not going to be open on Christmas Eve. Not going to get any mail, no Christmas presents going to go over,” Bannon stated.
“CNN’s going to have that big camera everywhere. Kids crying. No, Santa, NORAD’s not going to be able to– NORAD’s not going to be able to track Santa on Christmas Eve. Nora will not do it. You remember as a kid, every sitting I got Santa. He’s leaving the North Pole. It’s not going to happen because government is going to shut down because government’s out of money,” Bannon continued.
In reality, Republicans have never actually paid a price for government shutdowns.
Republicans shut down the government in 1995 and 1996.
In the November 1996 Elections, the GOP gained two Senate seats and nine House seats as their House majority became the first GOP majority re-elected since 1928.
Conservatives forced a 16-day shutdown in 2013 in the fight to defund Obamacare.
Republicans gained 13 seats in the House and nine in the Senate in the ensuing Midterm elections.
Voters reward Republicans when they fight on government spending since fiscal responsibility is a chief reason Americans cast ballots for Republicans in the first place.
