New York City Mayor expresses desire to help Trump with illegal immigration crackdown
Joe Biden smuggled more than 100,000 illegal aliens into New York City.
Illegal aliens took up residence in luxury hotels and engaged in a crime spree.
Laken Riley’s murderer was arrested in New York for injuries to a child before taking a taxpayer-funded flight to Georgia.
A gang of illegal alien thugs beat a police officer in the street after which Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg let some of them walk free after a bail hearing.
New York City’s Democrat Mayor Eric Adams shocked Democrat open borders supporters when he spoke out against the influx of illegal aliens entering the city, claiming they would “destroy” communities.
Once he crossed that line, Adams was hit with criminal corruption charges by the Biden administration.
Adams, and others, suspect the criminal charges for corruption the Biden administration hit him with were payback for giving Democrat-backing to Donald Trump’s attacks on Joe Biden for destroying American cities.
But the residents of New York agreed with Adams.
Donald Trump won around 100,000 more votes from New York City in 2024 than he did in 2020.
Kamala Harris carried New York by a 37-point margin, a far cry from the 63 and 54-point wins Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden posted in the 2016 and 2020 elections.
After the 2024 election, Mayor Adams doubled down, indicating he had significant enthusiasm for assisting the incoming Trump administration in carrying out mass deportations.
Adams discussed his working relationship with Trump administration border czar Tom Homan.
While some mayors – like the one in Denver – are promising total resistance to mass deportations, Adams is pledging cooperation.
One particular sore spot for Adams was the Biden administration’s incompetence in losing track of more than 500,000 illegal alien children.
“His desire is clearly, again, what my target area is. And what I’ve learned also from sitting down with him and a representative from the Biden administration that was there in the meeting as well, we have 500,000 children who have sponsors in this country that we can’t find. We can’t find them. We don’t know if they’re doing child labor. We don’t know if they’re doing sex crimes. We don’t know if they’ve been exploited. 500,000 children,” Adams told reporters.
Adams slammed Democrats for claiming to care about the little guy and then turning a blind eye to the epidemic of child trafficking.
“There’s a level of hypocrisy that everyone that states they want to protect everyone but innocent individuals who are victims of crimes and children. I want to support and protect children and innocent people that are victims of crime,” Adams continued.
“And those who don’t understand that, it’s not up to me to try to convince them. I know what my job is, my goal is, and I was clear of that while running and when I became mayor. Safety means everything to me. 500,000 children. We don’t know where they are right now in this country,” Adams continued.
Homan later appeared on Sean Hannity’s show and broke major news.
Adams didn’t just pledge total cooperation with the Trump administration in carrying out mass deportations.
Homan revealed that Trump will deputize private citizens to help the NYPD track down the missing children who Mayor Adams – unlike Joe Biden and Kamala Harris – is making a priority.
