Hollywood has been unhinged since Trump’s landslide victory last year.
But one famous director just crossed a line that left everyone speechless.
And Rob Reiner made one crazy prediction about 2026 that proves Hollywood has completely lost it.
Rob Reiner pushes wild military conspiracy theory on MSNBC
Rob "Meathead" Reiner – the guy who made his career playing an idiot on All in the Family – apparently wasn’t acting.
The Hollywood director appeared on MSNBC’s Velshi over the weekend and delivered what might be the most unhinged rant of the Trump era.
And that’s saying something.
Reiner told host Ali Velshi that America has exactly one year before becoming a "full-on autocracy" and claimed Trump will use the military to steal the 2026 midterms.
"Make no mistake; we have a year before this country becomes a full-on autocracy, and democracy completely leaves us," Reiner declared with the confidence of someone who’s completely lost touch with reality.
But wait – it gets worse.
Reiner then spun an elaborate fantasy about Trump deploying troops to polling stations across America.
"Don’t be surprised when polling booths are surrounded by American military in the guise of making sure that the elections are fair and that nobody is tampering with anything," he warned viewers.
The director claimed Trump knows "in a free and fair election, he will lose" the House in 2026, so naturally the President will just commandeer voting machines and ballot boxes.
Because that’s totally how elections work in Reiner’s fevered imagination.
MSNBC treats insane conspiracy theories as legitimate news
Here’s what should terrify every American watching this train wreck.
Host Ali Velshi didn’t push back, fact-check, or even raise an eyebrow at Reiner’s wild claims.
He just nodded along as if Reiner was giving a weather report instead of crazy ideas that would make a lunatic blush.
MSNBC calls this "journalism": giving Hollywood has-beens a chance to tell long, made-up stories about military coups and rigged elections.
The same network that spent years lecturing Americans about "misinformation" and "conspiracy theories" is now broadcasting pure leftist fan fiction as legitimate political analysis.
And they wonder why their ratings are in the toilet.
Reiner predicted "violence breaking out" and "protests" that Trump will somehow use to justify commandeering the entire election process.
Never mind that Trump just won the biggest electoral victory in decades through, you know, actual voting.
According to Reiner’s logic, the guy who won fair and square is now planning to steal future elections he’s supposedly destined to lose.
The Left’s complete break from reality
Look, here’s what’s really happening.
Reiner and his Hollywood friends can’t accept that Trump didn’t just win – he dominated.
The man they’ve been calling a "threat to democracy" for years just proved he IS democracy by winning over American voters in record numbers.
So now they’re retreating into fantasy land where military coups and stolen elections are right around the corner.
This isn’t political analysis – it’s therapy for people who can’t handle losing.
The same crowd that screamed about "election deniers" for four years is now pre-emptively denying elections that haven’t even happened yet.
Reiner claims we’re "beyond McCarthy era-esque" – apparently unaware that Joe McCarthy was actually right about communist infiltration of Hollywood.
The irony is lost on him that he’s using a major news network to spread conspiracy theories that would make QAnon followers tell him to calm down.
For folks who work for a living and pay taxes, this should be insulting.
These entertainment industry millionaires who live in gated communities are lecturing regular Americans about democracy while pushing theories that belong in a psychiatric ward.
And networks like MSNBC are happy to give them airtime because it feeds their audience’s need for Trump hatred – even when it’s completely divorced from reality.
The bottom line is simple.
When Hollywood directors are your political experts and conspiracy theories are your breaking news, you’ve stopped being a news network.
You’ve become a support group for people who can’t accept that Donald Trump is President of the United States.
