Possibly the most influential political machines in the United States are the national teachers unions.
They lobby for legislation that puts students last and purchase election victories for Democrat candidates.
But now, union fat cat Randi Weingarten is biting off all her fingernails over the rise of this new conservative organization that is getting results.
The lack of education in government-run indoctrination mills
The National Education Association (NEA) and the American Federation of Teachers (AFT) are the two largest teachers unions in the United States.
Together they’ve helped destroy America’s education system.
The NEA and AFT — behind leadership like union bosses like Randi Weingarten – have lobbied to divert tax dollars outside of the classroom, protect the jobs of the worst educators, and have fought against common-sense school choice policies.
In recent years, the teachers unions have moved to pushing the radically woke agenda.
Their platform is all about Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion, the Queer Theory, and Critical Race Theory.
Fortunately, in one of the only silver linings of the COVID-19 restrictions, parents got a firsthand look at what their children are and aren’t learning in government-run schools.
Armed with information, concerned moms and dads took to school board meetings to voice their opinions.
For their efforts, the Biden Administration labeled those proud parents “domestic terrorists.”
But out of the chaos rose a new conservative-minded non-profit organization, and now union bigwigs like Weingarten are looking over their shoulders as this group grows into a powerful force in politics.
The birth of a political juggernaut
Moms for Liberty started organizing in earnest in 2021.
And in less than two years of full operation, the group’s IRS 990 report shows exponential growth.

According to Moms for Liberty IRS documents, the organization raised about $2.14-Million in total revenue in 2022.
That’s up 579% from the $370,029 they brought in the prior year.
The group is making the money work for American families.
Moms for Liberty’s operation expenses ballooned 10-times year-over-year – from $163,647 in 2021 to $1.7-Million in 2022.
As you can see from the numbers, the group is being fiscally responsible, spending less than they’re raising.
And the funds they spend are going to the organization’s programing, not to line the pockets of its leaders.
In fact, the two highest-ranking officers at Moms for Liberty only made about $45,000 and $50,000 in annual salary, respectively.
Compare that to Weingarten who, according to AFT’s 2020 tax returns, makes nearly $550,000 in salary and benefits each year.
Moms for Liberty cycle of success
Moms for Liberty is growing because it’s succeeding.
They have more than 300 local chapters in 48 different states.
Each year, it hosts a Joyful Warrior Summit, bringing like-minded moms and dads from all over the country together to learn how they can stand up for parental rights.
The group supports a number of programs informing parents on their options and providing educational alternatives.
And in the 2022 and 2023 election cycles, 365 Moms for Liberty endorsed candidates won seats on local school boards.
The more Moms for Liberty continue winning, the more they can expect to keep growing.
This is what local organizing for a good cause looks like.
And it scares the life out of the likes of Weingarten, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, and President Joe Biden.
