The far-left just turned on one of their own.
Her crime was going on Fox News and telling the truth.
What she admitted has progressives calling her a traitor – and it exposes exactly where the Democratic Party stands in 2026.
Melissa DeRosa Calls Graham Platner Unfit on Fox News and Democrats Erupt
Melissa DeRosa is not some right-wing pundit.
She worked for Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, and spent years as chief of staff to Andrew Cuomo – a card-carrying member of the Democratic establishment.
Tuesday night on Fox News' Special Report, she told Bret Baier what moderate Democrats have been whispering for months.
Maine's far-left Senate candidate Graham Platner had a Nazi SS skull tattoo on his chest.
He also celebrated an online video of an American soldier being shot.
"A lot of Democrats, moderate Democrats like myself, will not cry tears should we lose Maine," DeRosa told Baier. "How big a tent is the party? Is it big enough for somebody with Nazi tattoos? Big enough for somebody who celebrated a veteran being shot? I say no to that."
Three sentences.
That's all it took.

Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren Still Back Platner Despite Nazi Tattoo Scandal
The progressive response was immediate and savage.
They branded DeRosa a "Cuomo crony" doing opposition research for pay.
They told her she wasn't a real Democrat.
Think about what they were actually defending.
Platner has the backing of Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren, who endorsed him in March despite every one of these scandals being public record.
Warren called him a "fighter on behalf of working families."
Sanders has been holding rallies for him in Portland.
The progressive wing decided a man who covered up a Nazi chest tattoo and deleted posts celebrating a soldier being shot is their standard-bearer for a critical Senate seat – and when a Democrat with 30 years of party credentials said that out loud on Fox News, they called her the enemy.
Democrat Civil War Threatens Democrats' Best Chance to Flip Senate in 2026
The Maine race is a symptom, not the disease.
The Democratic Party has been at war with itself all cycle, and that war is now exploding in public right before the 2026 midterms.
Progressives are primarying moderate candidates in Texas, Michigan, and Maine – and party leadership is watching helplessly as their most electable options get demolished by the Sanders wing.
Just last December, moderates were warning after their special election loss in Tennessee that running hard-left candidates in competitive seats was a recipe for disaster.
Nobody listened.
Now they have Platner – leading in the polls by 27 points over the moderate Democratic governor – as their likely nominee against Susan Collins in their top Senate pickup target.
Republicans have been watching with barely concealed glee.
National Republican Senatorial Committee Chair Tim Scott said it plainly: the Democratic Party is "in shambles everywhere around the country."
He said it about Texas.
He could have been talking about all of it.
Sadly, RINO Susan Collins is the Only Candidate on the GOP Primary Ballot
Susan Collins has held that Maine Senate seat since 1997.
Conservatives and Democrats viewed 2026 as their best shot to finally knock her out.
No other candidate qualified for the ballot on the GOP side in the June 2 Primary.
Democrats needed a clean candidate, a disciplined campaign, and a unified party.
Instead they have a candidate with a Nazi tattoo, deleted posts calling all police "bastards," old Reddit comments about rape, and a progressive base that calls any Democrat who questions him a traitor.
DeRosa has more in common with Collins than she does with Platner.
But ultimately that says more about how left-wing Collins is than anything.
