They're using intimidation tactics that would make a mob boss blush.
And two words from a high school principal left an OutKick reporter stunned by what happened next.
Woke School Principal Orchestrates Harassment Campaign
OutKick reporter Dan Zaksheske thought he was covering a routine high school volleyball game last Thursday night.
Instead, he walked into a coordinated intimidation campaign that exposed just how far radical leftists will go to silence conservative journalists.
Zaksheske was reporting on Ann Arbor Skyline High School's playoff victory over Dexter, documenting how a biological male on the girls' volleyball team was dominating female athletes.
But the moment he arrived at the gym, something strange happened.
Ann Arbor Skyline Principal Casey Elmore appeared out of nowhere and began shadowing his every move.
When Zaksheske tried to interview parents from the opposing team about their daughters competing against a biological male, Elmore positioned herself directly next to the conversation.
The parents looked at the principal hovering over them, asked Zaksheske to repeat who he was, then politely declined to speak.
"I asked the woman who she was," Zaksheske wrote. "'I am the Skyline High School principal,' she responded."¹
When Zaksheske introduced himself as a reporter for OutKick and extended his hand, Elmore's response revealed everything about the Left's hatred for conservative media.
She refused to shake his hand and wouldn't even give him her name.
Reporter Followed Like a Criminal Throughout Entire Game
What happened next showed this wasn't random hostility – it was a calculated operation to intimidate a conservative journalist.
Zaksheske moved to different sections of the gym six different times, hoping to find parents willing to talk about their daughters competing against biological males.
Every single time, Elmore followed him.
"I then went to other sections of the gym and about a half dozen different locations and Elmore followed me," he reported.²
But the principal wasn't working alone.
A man wearing a shirt that read "May you have the confidence of a mediocre white man" positioned himself eight inches behind Zaksheske and began yelling encouragement for the Ann Arbor team directly into the reporter's ear.
The harassment continued throughout the game, with the man repeatedly shouting loud enough for others to hear that Zaksheske was "creepy."
Elmore watched this coordinated harassment from eight feet away and did absolutely nothing to stop it.
These are the same people who lecture us about "bullying" and "creating safe spaces."
When it comes to silencing conservative voices, they become the bullies.
Police Called as Safety Concerns Mount
The situation became so threatening that Zaksheske felt compelled to call the Ann Arbor Police Department.
"I decided to look for a security guard or police officer to alert them of the situation," Zaksheske explained. "When I didn't see one, I asked the principal if there was any law enforcement on site. She said there wasn't, so I called the Ann Arbor Police Department."³
The officer arrived just as the match was ending and escorted Zaksheske safely to his car.
Think about that for a moment.
A journalist covering a high school volleyball game needed police protection because radical leftists couldn't handle someone reporting basic facts about biological reality.
This is what happens when school administrators enable mob behavior instead of maintaining professional standards.
Michigan Officials Launch Investigation Into Coordinated Attack
The Michigan High School Athletic Association (MHSAA) confirmed Monday they're "still gathering information" about the harassment incident.⁴
But here's the problem – they haven't even contacted Zaksheske yet as part of their so-called investigation.
"Zaksheske said he hasn't been contacted by the MHSAA as part of its inquiry into last week's incident," Fox News reported.⁵
Ann Arbor Public Schools refused to comment when asked about their principal's role in orchestrating the harassment.
That silence tells you everything you need to know about where they stand.
MHSAA spokesman Geoff Kimmerly claimed they "always prioritize safety at all of our venues," but their actions suggest otherwise.⁶
If they truly cared about safety, they would have immediately contacted the reporter who was harassed and taken swift action against the school administrator who enabled it.
Instead, they're doing what bureaucrats always do – stalling and hoping the story goes away.
Pattern Reveals Coordinated War on Conservative Media
This wasn't an isolated incident of overzealous school spirit.
This was a coordinated effort by woke administrators to silence journalism they don't like.
Ann Arbor Public Schools has a comprehensive policy protecting transgender students that requires staff to keep students' transgender status confidential even from parents.
The district has been pushing radical gender ideology for years, so they're terrified of any media coverage that exposes what they're really doing.
Zaksheske has a track record of asking tough questions that make leftists uncomfortable.
He previously made headlines for asking South Carolina basketball coach Dawn Staley about transgender athletes in women's sports at a press conference.
The sports media establishment attacked him for that too, proving they function as public relations agents rather than journalists.
The harassment at Ann Arbor Skyline wasn't about school spirit or protecting students.
It was about intimidating conservative media into silence through organized mob tactics.
"I really felt like this was a complete and utter failure by both the MHSAA and Ann Arbor Public Schools," Zaksheske told Fox News Digital. "For the principal to watch someone be harassed on her campus, on her property, and to not only allow it to continue, but in some instances almost seem to be encouraging more of it, I don't know how she can justify herself as an educator."⁷
Principal Casey Elmore should be fired immediately for orchestrating this harassment campaign.
But she won't be, because she was doing exactly what the radical school board wanted her to do.
This is how the Left operates now – they can't win the debate on facts, so they resort to intimidation and mob tactics.
They're so desperate to hide the truth about biological males dominating women's sports that they're willing to destroy basic journalistic principles to do it.
