Every poll shows inflation and the economy are the top issues for voters.
The most recent Gallup poll found 80 percent of Americans are dissatisfied with the direction of the country.
Those two poll numbers are linked.
Americans think Joe Biden’s failed leadership and policies brought about the inflation that left so many Americans soured on the direction of the country under Joe Biden and Kamala Harris’ watch.

Harris’ bounce appears to be subsiding as a series of polls show a tie race nationally with some – like the most recent Fox News and CNBC polls – showing Trump still in the lead.
Kamala’s campaign knows she is more than just the media to glow her up with propaganda coverage to beat Trump.
That’s why her campaign’s latest scheme is to have Kamala try to “break” with Biden on inflation and the economy.

Joe Biden ends Kamala Harris’ plan to pivot from him
Fox News White House correspondent Peter Doocy put the question to Biden about how he felt if Kamala threw him under the bus on inflation.
“How much does it bother you that Vice President Harris might soon for political reasons start to distance herself from your economic plan?” Doocy asked Biden.
Biden declared that would never happen.
“She’s not going to,” Biden shot back.

Karine Jean-Pierre also declared Bidenomics a historic success that Kamala Harris owns.
“What I will tell you is Bidenomics has been something that both the president and the Vice President has worked on,” Jean-Pierre said in response to a question from Doocy.
“You guys have called it ‘Bidenomics,’ we talk about how the president is trying to put forward an economic policy building from the bottom-up, middle-out that does not leave behind the middle class and make sure it has equity at the center of it,” Jean-Pierre concluded.
That was music to Donald Trump’s ears.
During a press conference at his Bedminster Golf Club, Trump detailed the price increase the American people suffered thanks to Kamala Harris helping impose Bidenomics on the country.
The New York Post reported that “Trump said that meat, poultry and fish are up 23%, children’s food is up by 24.1%, baking goods by 27.2% and cereal and bakery goods have gone up 26% under the Biden-Harris administration.”
Joe Biden and Karine Jean-Pierre are doing the Trump campaign’s job for them by admitting Kamala had her hand on the steering wheel and Bidenomics drove the country off the rails.
