Trump handed Pam Bondi the keys to the Justice Department to clean house and go after the crooks.
Ten months later she's drowning in failure.
And Pam Bondi's approval rating just collapsed as Trump Supporter outrage grows over huge mistakes.
Pam Bondi Approval Rating Plummets 47 Points as Attorney General
Pam Bondi's public support has imploded since February.
New AtlasIntel polling shows a 47-point collapse from where she started as Attorney General to where she is now.
She began with 49% approval and 43% disapproval.
Today 61% of Americans think she's doing a terrible job while only 29% approve.
Even Trump's base is turning on her.
Only 43% of Republicans approve of her performance.
That's a disaster for someone who's supposed to be carrying out Trump's law-and-order agenda.
Pam Bondi DOJ Performance Gets Panned in Senate Hearing
Bondi's testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee exposed her weakness for everyone to see.
Democrats like Adam Schiff and Dick Durbin grilled her for four hours about prosecuting Trump's enemies and hiding the Epstein files.
Bondi tried fighting back by calling Schiff "a liar" and "a failed lawyer."
She told Durbin "I wish you loved Chicago as much as you hate President Trump."
But talking tough isn't the same as being tough.
Reuters photographers caught her with a folder of pre-written insults she brought to the hearing.
That's not strength.
That's desperation masked as confidence.
Schiff walked away and listed 11 questions she flat-out refused to answer.
She couldn't defend her decisions so she hid behind personal attacks that made her look petty instead of powerful.
Now Democrats are openly bragging they'll impeach her if they flip the Senate in 2026.
"We have to hope that we can flip one or both houses and then we'll do some serious oversight," Schiff told reporters. "The administration ought to recognize they're only going to defer accountability for so long."
Bondi got pushed around by the same Democrats who impeached Trump twice.
The Epstein Files Disaster Made Everyone Suspicious
Trump signed the Epstein Files Transparency Act in November ordering the Justice Department to release the documents.
Bondi's DOJ missed deadlines and released heavily redacted files.
Rasmussen Reports found 38% of voters rate her handling of the case as "poor."
Republicans and Democrats are now threatening contempt charges.
Trump promised transparency.
Bondi delivered a cover-up that satisfied no one.
She handed out Epstein file binders to conservative influencers at the White House in February like she was accomplishing something.
Then her DOJ shut down further investigations in July.
The timeline made everyone suspicious about who she was protecting.
Gallup polling shows her approval in the bottom tier of Trump administration officials.
Only FBI Director Kash Patel polls worse.
Trump Reportedly Unhappy With Bondi's Weak Performance
Trump posted on Truth Social in September telling Bondi exactly what he needed.
"Pam," he wrote, "We can't delay any longer, it's killing our reputation and credibility. JUSTICE MUST BE SERVED, NOW!!!"
He named James Comey, Adam Schiff, and Letitia James.
Days later Comey got indicted.
That should have been Bondi's moment to prove she could deliver.
Instead the prosecution immediately ran into legal problems that made it look politically motivated.
She went after Trump's enemies but did it so sloppily she handed Democrats ammunition to claim weaponization.
That's worse than doing nothing.
Her approval kept dropping through the fall as independents watched her fumble one case after another.
By December she was underwater with every demographic group except die-hard Trump supporters.
Bondi promised to be Trump's hammer at the Justice Department.
Instead she became his biggest liability.
She can't handle Senate Democrats who impeached Trump twice.
She botched the Epstein files Trump personally ordered released.
She fumbled the political prosecutions Trump publicly demanded.
And her 47-point approval collapse proves the American people see exactly what's happening.
Trump needs an Attorney General who can actually fight and win.
Bondi isn't that person.
