The NFL alienated fans by embracing Colin Kaepernick’s anti-American national anthem protests.
Ever since the league and teams backed away from the Black Lives Matter movement, ratings and fan interest shot through the roof.
But now one NFL coach made fans groan with this woke rant.
The New England Patriots and Head Coach Bill Belichick stunned the sports world by parting ways.
Over the course of 24 seasons as a head coach in New England, Belichick won 17 AFC East Division Titles and played in nine Super Bowls, winning six.
Belichick also won 302 games in his 29 seasons as a head coach – Belichick led the Browns from 1991 to 1995 – leaving him 26 wins shy of Don Shula’s record 328 victories as a head coach.
While Belichick oversaw the most successful dynasty in NFL history, the last four seasons turned into a debacle as the Patriots finished under .500 three times following Tom Brady’s departure.
Brady winning a Super Bowl in Tampa Bay in the 2020 season seemed to settle the argument as to who was more responsible for the Patriots’ success, and it was all downhill there for Belichick as his drafts and free agent moves – specifically drafting quarterback Mac Jones in the first round to succeed Brady – turned out to be flaming dumpster fires.
The Patriots immediately replaced Belichick with his right hand man – who played for the Patriots from 2008 to 2015 and served as inside linebackers coach from 2019 to 2023.
Most coaches win the introductory press conference, as it’s not hard to stick to a fan and media-pleasing script about how the team will be tough, it will be aggressive, and it will be built the right way, combined with some colorful language about being fighters and concluding with promises to make the fans proud.
Mayo instead delivered a BLM sermon where he announced to every player in the locker room that when he sees them, all he sees is skin color.
“I do see color, because I believe if you don’t see color you can’t see racism.”

Bill Belichick established the “Patriot Way,” where no player was bigger than the team and every member of the 53-man roster felt accountable to their teammates because they played a valuable role and that any one player falling short could tank the team’s mission of winning the Super Bowl.
But now Jerod Mayo wants to turn the “Patriot Way” into a woke struggle session where instead of uniting behind a common purpose the players, coaches, and team employees will be worried about microaggressions, trigger warnings and judging one another based on skin color.
