For a brief moment in time, one of Fox News’ most popular programs sounded like CNN or MSNBC.
Joe Biden won’t be able to complain anymore about Fox News producing critical coverage of his administration.
And one Fox News host left viewers stunned into silence with this unthinkable defense of Joe Biden.
House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan sent shockwaves through Washington by revealing that the Biden administration and federal law enforcement spied on the bank accounts of Trump supporters.
Federal authorities mandated financial institutions flag transactions from outlets like Dick’s Sporting Goods and Cabela’s using search terms like “Trump” and “MAGA.”
“The Committee and Select Subcommittee have obtained documents indicating that following January 6, 2021, FinCEN distributed materials to financial institutions that, among other things, outline the ‘typologies’ of various persons of interest and provide financial institutions with suggested search terms and Merchant Category Codes (MCCs) for identifying transactions on behalf of federal law enforcement,” Jordan’s letter to the former Director of the Office of Stakeholder Integration and Engagement in the Strategic Operations Division of the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) Noah Bishoff read.
On Fox and Friends, co-host Ainsley Earhardt slammed the government for violating the privacy of Trump supporters.
But co-host Steve Doocy – who defended the COVID19 vaccine policies – rode to Joe Biden’s rescue once again.
Doocy claimed that since Cabela’s and Dick’s Sporting Goods were sporting goods store that sold items like Bear Spray – which some in the crowd on January 6 used – it was natural that law enforcement sift through the private financial transaction of every Trump supporter thought to be in the area that day.
“You know what Bass Pro, Cabela’s and Dick’s Sporting Goods all sell? Bear spray,” Doocy exclaimed. “There were a number of police officers, federal officers who were attacked, allegedly, and some people have been convicted since then because they used bear spray … you attack a federal officer, there’s gonna be a federal investigation obviously. I don’t know, I’m just suggesting, they all sell bear spray.”
But what Doocy can’t explain is why the weaponized government would also target Trump supporters who purchased Bibles as exhibiting indicators of domestic extremism.
“These materials included a document recommending the use of generic terms like ‘TRUMP’ and ‘MAGA’ to ‘search Zelle payment messages’ as well as a ‘prior FinCEN analysis’ of ‘Lone Actor/Homegrown Violent Extremism Indicators.’ According to this analysis, FinCEN warned financial institutions of ‘extremism’ indicators that include ‘transportation charges, such as bus tickets, rental cars, or plane tickets, for travel to areas with no apparent purpose,’ or ‘the purchase of books (including religious texts) and subscriptions to other media containing extremist views,’” Jordan’s letter continued.
The woke and politicized FBI continues to target Americans of faith.
The FBI’s Richmond field office produced a memo proposing sending in spies to Catholic Churches who performed Latin Masses, believing observant Catholics to be terrorists.
FBI Director Christopher Wray falsely claimed that was a one-off situation.
But Jim Jordan now knows the government considers purchasing a Bible to be a red flag signifying a potential domestic extremist.
