Minnesota Governor Tim Walz’s rocky rollout as Kamala Harris’ running mate continues.
Walz is finding some surprising pockets of discontent.
And one Democrat just gave Tim Walz the shock of his life.
Walz handling of Black Lives Matter riots under fire
Tim Walz’s initial introduction to Americans came when, as Governor, Walz allowed Black Lives Matter terrorists to burn Minneapolis to the ground.
Walz waited for days to call in the National Guard to put down the insurrection.
Four years later, even home state Democrats are still uneasy with how Walz permitted rioting, arson and violence.
“I do have some serious problems with how our governor dealt with the riots,” a woman who voted Democrat told a CNN reporter.
“What leaves her unsettled even now is how her Democratic Gov. Tim Walz responded to the riots years ago,” the reporter narrated over the video package where he talked to Minnesotans about their concerns about their governor letting Minneapolis burn.
Even Democrats in Minnesota say they have “serious problems” with how Tim Walz cowered in fear as Minneapolis burned to the ground in 2020.

Walz’s response to the riots
One of the most shameful images that emerged from the Black Lives Matter riots was insurrectionists burning the Minneapolis Police Department’s Third Precinct to the ground.
Three officers from the precinct testified before the Minneapolis State Senate that Walz gave the stand down order which allowed the Black Lives Matter rioters to torch the precinct.

Walz’s wife Gwen also gave a bizarre interview where she said she slept with the windows to the home open so she could take in the smell of burning tires.
“I could smell the burning tires, and that was a very real thing,” Gwen Walz stated.
“I kept the windows open as long as I could because I felt like that was such a touchstone of what was happening,” Gwen Walz added.
The Black Lives Matter riots following the death of George Floyd were a violent uprising that was an attack on civil society.
Tim Walz acted like the rioters were an interest group to tolerate and bargain with.
Most Americans saw the rioters as a violent force that needed to be quelled.
Now that Walz is on a national ticket, his permissive posture towards the Black Lives Matter riots will come under scrutiny.
