Democrats love to bring any issue they can back to Donald Trump and January 6.
They’ve spent years pushing their narratives about that day.
But Nancy Pelosi likely never expected one network is where she’d get exposed for a shocking January 6 cover-up
Ben Ferguson just exposed Nancy Pelosi’s January 6 cover-up with one devastating question that left Democrats stunned
During a heated debate on CNN’s NewsNight with Abby Phillip, radio host Ben Ferguson delivered a masterclass in exposing Democrat hypocrisy.
The panel was discussing President Trump’s deployment of National Guard troops to Los Angeles amid immigration protests and violence.
Democrat former Wisconsin Lieutenant Governor Mandela Barnes tried to score political points by bringing up January 6.
"This is only a political moment why we can always go back to January 6th and ask why weren’t the National Guard called in then, when police officers were being attacked," Barnes stated.
Ferguson forces Democrats to face the truth about Pelosi’s role
That’s when Ferguson pounced with a question that completely dismantled the Democrat talking point.
"I can tell you why. Hold on. I can tell you why. Go back to Nancy Pelosi’s own word," Ferguson began.
But Democrats didn’t want to hear the truth.
Barnes immediately tried to interrupt Ferguson with the usual deflection tactics.
"No, no, no," Barnes protested.
But Ferguson wasn’t backing down from exposing the facts.
"Hold on. I want to go on first. True or false, did they say to Nancy Pelosi that if you want to go ahead and bring in the National Guard and others, we will be more than happy to do that, and Nancy Pelosi was the one that said, no?" Ferguson demanded.
The question hit like a thunderbolt.
Democrats on the panel suddenly got very uncomfortable when confronted with the reality of Pelosi’s role in the January 6 security failures.
Ferguson backs up his claims with facts
Ferguson didn’t stop there.
He pressed the point even further, forcing Democrats to acknowledge what really happened before January 6.
"Yes. Beforehand, they said, we will give you the resources before January 6th. And she said no," Ferguson explained.
This is the inconvenient truth that Democrats have spent years trying to hide.
Nancy Pelosi had the opportunity to beef up security before January 6.
She was offered additional resources, including National Guard troops.
And she turned them down.
But you won’t hear that from the mainstream media or the Democrat politicians who have made careers out of attacking Trump over January 6.
CNN’s own law enforcement analyst John Miller was forced to confirm Ferguson’s account.
"The chief of the Capitol Police went to the architect of the Capitol and the sergeant-at-arms from both houses. The chief of the Capitol Police does not know who they went to. But let’s assume they went to their political leadership and they said they didn’t want, the National Guard brought in, they wanted them on standby," Miller admitted.
Miller then revealed the stunning hypocrisy of what happened next.
"The day of the riot, Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer are on the phone saying, can we get the National Guard?" Miller stated.

So let’s get this straight.
Before January 6, Pelosi and other Democrat leaders rejected offers for additional security.
Then when things went bad, they suddenly wanted the National Guard that they had previously refused.
Democrats can’t handle the truth about their failures
The exchange exposed everything wrong with the Democrat narrative about January 6.
They want to blame Trump for everything while ignoring their own role in the security failures.
Former New York City Council Speaker Christine Quinn tried to defend the indefensible.
"They were asked if they were put on standby, so when they needed them, they could come. They asked when they needed them, them being on standby makes perfect logical sense," Quinn argued.
But Ferguson wasn’t buying the spin.
"No, but did it work?" Ferguson shot back.
Of course it didn’t work.
The security plan failed spectacularly because Democrat leaders rejected the very resources that could have prevented the chaos.
Quinn got flustered when Ferguson wouldn’t let her deflect from the facts.
"No. You stop interrupting," Quinn snapped.
"Stop. They then asked for them and they didn’t come, period, end of conversation. They asked in the thick of the moment. They didn’t get them," she continued.
But Quinn’s own statement proved Ferguson’s point.
If Pelosi and other Democrat leaders had accepted the offers for additional security beforehand, there wouldn’t have been a need to make desperate phone calls during the crisis.
The real January 6 scandal Democrats don’t want exposed
Ferguson’s questioning revealed the real scandal that Democrats have been covering up for years.
Nancy Pelosi and other Democrat leaders had multiple opportunities to prevent the January 6 security breakdown.
They were offered National Guard troops and other resources beforehand.
They said no.
Then when their inadequate security plan fell apart, they tried to blame everyone else.
This is the same Nancy Pelosi who spent years as House Speaker attacking Trump and demanding investigations.
She positioned herself as the defender of democracy while covering up her own failures.
The January 6 Committee spent millions of dollars and held countless hearings.
But they never bothered to seriously examine Pelosi’s role in the security failures.
They were too busy trying to destroy Trump to look in the mirror.
Ferguson’s line of questioning showed exactly why Democrats get so defensive when anyone brings up Pelosi’s responsibility.
They know she failed.
They know she had chances to prevent what happened.
But admitting that would destroy their entire narrative about January 6.
Democrats continue the cover-up
Even when confronted with the facts, Democrats on the CNN panel couldn’t bring themselves to acknowledge Pelosi’s failures.
They deflected, interrupted, and tried to change the subject.
But Ferguson had done his job.
He forced them to confront the uncomfortable truth about what really happened before January 6.
The security failures weren’t just about Trump’s response during the crisis.
They were about Democrat leaders rejecting the very resources that could have prevented the crisis in the first place.
This is why Democrats hate it when people like Ferguson ask the tough questions.
They’ve built their entire political identity around attacking Trump over January 6.
But the more people learn about Pelosi’s role, the more their narrative falls apart.
Ferguson’s devastating questioning exposed the cover-up that Democrats have been running for years.
And they clearly didn’t like having their own failures thrown back in their faces.
