Mitch McConnell is still the leader of the RINO establishment.
McConnell and his allies still won’t accept that Donald Trump won the 2024 election.
And Mitch McConnell just declared war on Donald Trump for one sick reason.
Mitch McConnell declares his intention to stop Donald Trump’s America First agenda
Donald Trump won the 2016 and 2024 elections because the swamp lit the world on fire.
In 2016, Americans elected Donald Trump because of his promise to end the war in Afghanistan.
Trump made good on his word by negotiating a deal to end the war with honor.
Joe Biden and Kamala Harris botched it all up.
This November, Americans elected Donald Trump because of his pledge to bring the war in Ukraine to a close before it results in nuclear holocaust.
RINO Senator Mitch McConnell previously declared the GOP’s “number one priority” was funding a blank check for the war in Ukraine.
In a speech to the pro-warmonger American Enterprise Institute, McConnell laid down his marker that he would spend his remaining years in the Senate fighting Donald Trump’s America First foreign policy.
“Members of my own party now contend that, somehow, the stability of markets and the deterrence of adversaries are achievable without tending to the requirements of American hard power,” McConnell stated.
“This is a fanciful delusion, and it has flared up periodically throughout American history,” McConnell added.
“Shoring up American primacy, combatting the dangerous tendency toward isolationism, and urgently restoring America’s hard power: this is how I will spend a great deal of the time I have left in public life,” McConnell continued.
The flashpoint over the war in Ukraine
Even warmongers like Florida Senator Marco Rubio know the war in Ukraine needs to end.
Trump picked Rubio as his Secretary of State as Trump tends to think his more restrained foreign policy works best if America’s enemies see Trump surrounded by advisors who support going to war at the drop of a hat.
In an interview with the Catholic station EWTN, Rubio stated that the Ukraine war was a “stalemate” where Ukraine held no hope of victory.
“I also think we need to acknowledge what the Biden Administration knows to be true, but refuses to acknowledge, and that is that this war, right now, is a stalemate,” Rubio stated.
Rubio articulated Trump’s policy that America couldn’t fund this war forever and it was time to devise a policy to bring it to an end.
“And we’re lying to people when we tell them you’re going to be able to go to Congress and get $60 billion every 10 months. That’s just not realistic. Add to that, Ukraine is being wiped out. Every day, Ukraine is being hit and damaged in ways that are going to take 100 years to repair and restore. So we do want to see that conflict end, and it’s going to require some very difficult choices,” Rubio added.
Rubio explained that the longer America bogs itself down in a Ukraine quagmire, the more it invites Communist China to launch a war over Taiwan.
“I’m not going to get ahead of myself and tell you these are what the choices are, but I think it’s one of those instances that’s going to call for pragmatism. I don’t like what Vladimir Putin did, and we do have an interest in what happens there,” Rubio continued.
“But I think the future of the 21st century is going to largely be defined by what happens in the Indo-Pacific. And I think China would love for us to be bogged down in Europe in a conflict and not focused on what’s happening in the Indo-Pacific, where, every day, they are threatening not just Taiwan, but the Philippines,” Rubio concluded.
Donald Trump’s main foreign policy goal is keeping America out of war.
But Trump can’t achieve that goal if Mitch McConnell and his RINO allies are fighting his America First foreign policy at every turn.
