USAID funds terrorist groups in the Middle East
The scandal involving the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) continues to grow.
A Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) audit found that the agency was a hotbed of woke spending on things like promoting transgenderism and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) abroad.
Representative Ilhan Omar (D-MN) tried to defend USAID as a vital agency for delivering foreign aid.
She warned on MSNBC that cutting USAID’s funding would endanger Americans overseas and potentially get them killed.
Omar credited USAID for helping her family in a refugee camp as a child and for bringing her to the United States from Somalia.
The USAID scandal took another turn for the worse during a hearing for the Subcommittee on Delivering on Government Efficiency (DOGE) on wasteful foreign aid spending.
Middle East Forum executive director Gregg Roman testified that USAID officials had “directly worked with and celebrated their connections to Hamas-linked organizations.”
The Biden administration gave USAID a waiver that removed oversight of the taxpayer money it was sending overseas.
USAID spent more than $2 billion in taxpayer money that ended up in the hands of Hamas, Hezbollah, and Al-Qaeda affiliates like Al-Shabab in Somalia.
Megyn Kelly tells anyone supporting USAID to “eff” off
Former Fox News host Megyn Kelly took off the gloves after the latest revelations about USAID on her SiriusXM show.
She said “eff” anyone still supporting the agency at this point.
“Why am I funding through this group Hamas’ murder of Israeli babies? I object. I’m funding the murder of the Bibas boys,” Kelly said. “Eff you [and] anybody who supports this organization at this point.”
Kelly ripped Democrats and their media allies for pushing back against criticisms on the Right of USAID.
“This is such an outrage that this was allowed to happen in the first place, for anyone to have the gall to object to the questioning of it,” Kelly continued. “Now, never mind the shutting down by Elon and Trump.”
She ripped the media for being more interested in attacking President Donald Trump and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk than probing the USAID scandal.
“They don’t have their moral head on straight. This is outrageous that the entire country should be up in arms that we’ve been doing this, and instead, we get ridiculous headlines. Like I just read to you about why Elon is at a cabinet meeting,” Kelly explained.
“It’s infuriating,” Kelly added. “They’re more obsessed with being anti-Trump, anti-Elon than they are in figuring out what the true morality is of what’s being exposed.”
Roman testified to the DOGE Subcommittee that billions of taxpayer dollars have been sent to Gaza since the Israel-Hamas war broke out that were earmarked for humanitarian aid.
That money was ending up in the hands of Hamas.
“Essentially, what the U.S. assistance to Gaza did was underwrite the ability for Hamas to survive until the cease-fire, which was passed a few weeks ago,” Roman stated.
USAID was turned into a giant slush fund to use taxpayer money to enable the Left’s political agenda.
