“At the southern border, we have obtained near-total control, with daily encounters now down over 93% since President Trump took office,” Noem told lawmakers.

“March saw the lowest number of border encounters in recorded history in the history of the United States of America at just under 7,200,” Noem announced.

“Under the previous administration, U.S. Customs and Border Protection was at times encountering over 15,000 people a day, which meant efforts were diverted into processing and facilitating an invasion of our country instead of doing their jobs,” Noem explained.
The Biden administration had Border Patrol agents changing diapers and processing paperwork instead of protecting the border.
Now they’re finally able to focus on their real job – keeping America safe.
Secretary Noem also reported that fentanyl trafficking at the border fell by 54% in March compared to the previous year.
This dramatic reduction in drug smuggling will save countless American lives.
The Trump administration’s decisive actions have completely transformed the situation at the border in just over 100 days.
By designating six different cartels and criminal gangs as foreign terrorist organizations, the administration has given law enforcement new tools to combat criminal networks.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is also prioritizing the removal of criminal aliens who pose a threat to public safety.
Democrats repeatedly claimed that Trump couldn’t fix the border crisis without Congress.
They said his promises were empty campaign rhetoric.
They were wrong.
In just over three months, President Trump and Secretary Noem have achieved what many said was impossible – they’ve secured the southern border and made America safer.
This remarkable achievement stands in stark contrast to the Biden-Harris administration, which deliberately created the worst border crisis in American history.
